Kureshima deserved some hardship for what he has put Oono through. And Oono, I think you're experiencing PTSD, not love...

Just because you love your best friend, doesn't mean you can fuck him over and over again when he passes out from drinking. And you feel the need to cry...but you do it again next time he drinks? How can you even act normally and still do this again and again is just disturbing. And the friend found out, accepts it all and they started going out the next day? It is such a piece of shit, the artwork is the only thing going for this story.

When you've been through too much and you are broken inside, you probably stop caring about the good things in life and just continue living a hollow existence like a walking corpse.
