I had been searching for this story for years. I remember starting to read it a couple of years ago, and I’m not even sure if I had gone through with it at the time, but the plot just got stuck in my mind ever since and I swear it had been bugging me out for the longest time. I’m not even convinced that this is it, as it’s just so weird to think about – I swear I lowkey started thinking that I had came up with it myself. Well, it took me a couple hours to read it from start to finish and it’s just so good. The story is written beautifully. I’ve had palpitations the whole time to the point my heart’s just kind of aching now. It’s a deep story I could see myself in, there were so many moments I just had to take a break from it because it was too much. I appreciate how it requires you to pay attention and read between the lines, without ever being needlessly convoluted. I cried, my heart threatened to burst out of me just too many times for it to be good for my health, but it was worth it. If anything, I kind of which of wish I’d seen more of their relationship, but I get that wasn’t the main focus of the story. I’m sure it has its flaws but I’m just biased so I’ll leave it at that.
