I was going to give it 2 stars. But the chapter about the drawstring bag reminded me of when I used to go to the sewing room at my school. I sewed a tote bag. Unfortunately I lost the tote bag but I remember loving to sew even though I’ve fallen out of that hobby. So I gave three stars since it reminded me of my love for sewing. The girl was stupid and an airhead and hirata is just aloof. Didn’t even show the tailoring part well. Mediocre.

My three stars are for the first story alone, I don’t care about the rest. I remember researching about the Tayū back then when I piqued an interest in Geisha. Seeing the Tayū panels being drawn accurately brought me joy. That red collar and heart!! The story was rushed and didn’t bring the gut wrenching feeling of war and turmoil. I liked it nevertheless.
