reread this… again because that’s how many feels this manga gives me. i’ve got to read the essay for myself someday because it’ll probably make me cry. as a queer person myself so many of the experiences he wrote about felt so real to me, and i felt so seen. it’s also crazy to me how this is based on his real life, and that they are the first gay couple to get married in japan?!? wild to me that basic legal rightd for lgbtq people is still something that is happening at the moment, and i really hope it keeps improving. I’m so happy for them. i hope they live long lives together!!
