Read to Chap 28. Skimmed to 38. Funny and really strong FL. Interesting story as well. But sometimes the ML looks exactly like a woman, which is not my jam.

First 10 chapter were rough. FL forgives ML way too fast (the carriage ride back to their estate after his reveal is pretty much all it takes). Also, the presence of a 2nd love interest is completely unnecessary and makes FL look bad for being willing to toss him aside so quickly (even as just a friend). It would have been better if they were genuinely just friends but ML was still jealous. Doesn't feel like the author knows how to handle conflicts. FL forgives ML very quickly and without any difficulty or consequences after finding out his lies. She also slaps a slave she just bought in Chap 49 even though just saying "stop" would have resolved the situation. Dropped at Chap. 60. FL is becoming unbearable and her feelings often make little sense. She also keeps dismissing ML's feelings, which annoys me.
