this one hit hard, which is saying somethings as it's rather short. as that person on reddit said (warned), there are definitely major banana fish vibes from this. i am an absolute sucker for angst and banana fish is probably my favorite anime ngl so ofc i had to read it. i really enjoyed (but also suffered bc of) how the story explored both character's backstories and traumas and the nuances of their relationship within a short span of chapters. ofc i think the characters and their relationships could've been developed even further had there been more to the story, but i think it's great regardless. it didn't exactly hit me in the same way that banana fish did but that's what makes it unique in it's own right. it may not have made me sob, but it has left me thinking about it and the realities that it conveys. anyways, i reall enjoyed it overall!!! art was beautiful--very eyecatching. i especially enjoyed how their eyes were drawn. pretty and very deep story<333
