I love this story but every time I read it my mind wanders to the oedipus complex, and that hurts for real. If you can ignore it, bc technically it isn't like the kid is IN LOVE with our MC just... competes with the dad alot... like the oedipus complex, it's a good story.
Our MC isn't a good person, she loves who she loves and she's loyal, but she's not good. She's a really interesting character and I love her.
