I've always been wondering how the perspective would be as a beta witnessing the alpha and omega things but couldn't exactly understand what's happening 'cause they don't experience the same thing happening to their bodily functions. this manhwa had a different story in line for us. i actually found mr. Kim's blatant reactions and comments funny and comical in a sense that i agree with him. in terms of being vocal as beta living in an ABO society, this manhwa conveyed a satisfactory viewpoint. however, in regards to what should be the highlight or this manhwa, I'm afraid it didn't suffice the romance of both main characters. at first, Mr. Kim's admirers are all over the place. even upon seeing the cover of the story, i still have doubt as to who Mr. Kim will end up with. there are unnecessary romance between the omega and his best friend that shouldnt have been included in the storyline as it only made um.. what do you call it, like, all over the place. I'm still not satisfied with the ending, i feel like we need to see more of their moments together, cause seriously, they get to kiss at the very last few chapters?? and all of a sudden? we don't deserve this smh. i like the personalities of both mcs, but sigh it just feels inadequate. wish the author prolonged the story for more mr. kim and mr. green guy moments. march 10, 2024 7/10 #FinallyBetaViewPointOfABOSociety #NotClichePlotButEndedUpClicheLol

may 14, 2024 8.9/10 imma give this 5 stars 'cause the amount of emotions I've felt throughout my reading experience here. although at first, i had my doubts, like, how everything is moving fast in the first chapters. the leukemia, the revelation of the affair, the doctor's growing attraction to lewis.. man, no one even warned me it would be thrown right on our faces, when i could've readied myself so. look, i know adolph was such an asshole for being a cheater but, BUT, seeing the impact of lewis' loss on him that made him realize his mistakes and own up to it, has made me think that everyone deserves another chance. i know everyone's betting on the doctor, but here i am hoping for the original couple to give their relationship a second shot. and i hope, they'll even be stronger together. but, as i see it- I'm not sure if lewis no longer has feelings for adolph seeing his very last moment was him blurting what was clearly a memory of him and adolph in high school. man, this really sucks. i guess, his death was really destined to happen in no time. but wasn't actually what hurt me. it's the anguish and pain, the pathetic man adolph has become after losing the love is his life.. forever. he really wasnt given another chance. i also feel bad for the guy adolph cheated on lewis with. i forgot his name, but when i read his point of view, where he said he lost everything because he loved, has caused my heart to ache. although it still doesn't justify his wrongdoings, he's still a human. we all are. we make mistakes and hurt others to make ourselves happy. the doctor, he's such a greenflag. he took care and loved lewis with all his heart. and knowing that he said to himself that he won't be able to love again (somewhere along that line) has given me the impression that he genuinely loved lewis. the manhua was beautiful. idk how the author made the story beautiful despite some noticeable holes, but nonetheless, it was beautiful i honestly don't know why i sympathize with wenxi jiang, but maybe because it only shows how people can get. that's human for you. spiteful. but as we realize our mistakes, we have to change and move forward #RIPLewis #PetitionForGivingOurManASecondChance

july 30, 2024 5/10 yeah, sorry not sorry for the low rating. i felt like i have to rate what i actually feel like rating for this BL manhwa as a whole, and not gonna lie, i had high expectations and to finish this only to feel disappointed has made me give such low rate. apparently, there were 3 couples and one person of each couples are crazy/sadistic while the other one is the person the former found hem as entertaining. the ml sure reminds me of the ml from Mad Dog: same author as this manhwa. how they do what they like and the word consensual aint even in their vocabulary. i expected twists and turns, but turns out, it wasn't even dark at all. the author just showed behind reasons as to why things were gone out that way and that's just it. as to the two main couple, i dont feel romance in their relationship. sure, their solace is each other where they know their real identity and their past, but aside from that strong connection they have, i dont feel like they're a couple thing ya know. but this is just my opinion and this is what I've been thinking as i near to the last chapter. so, that was it? it's really the end? okay. lmao the first part no cap got me real interested, but as the story progressed, it was getting dull and just.. senseless. there were a lot of plot holes that left questions in my head i just let it. im only a reader, right? #TheyBothHaveTwoNames??ButThere'sOnlyOneRealNameAndIdenityTheyTrulyAcknowledge #IdkWhatHappenedLolI'llProllyForgetThePlotAfterAYear

july 31, 2024 6/10 it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. i felt like this manga is a bit too shallow for me to actually delve into the story. it could've been cute, however, for some reason, it's not. i mean, it IS cute, the nutritionist, it is. but everything's too easy and doesn't have special element for me to be hooked on this manga. im rating this a number past 5 'cause the characters are great but again, too light, and it had a potential to make the story interesting. october 29, 2024 10/10 what i thought to be too much of an extensive read for a shounen-ai turned out to be one of my greatest read of Boys Love. around 50+ chapter, i decided to take a break reading this and hopped on to other BLs only to find most of them to be cliché and unsatisfying. deciding to come back and read this in one go is what a pat on my shoulder, 'cause im glad i did. I've always liked semes like hanhoo, who only shows affection and obsession on his loved one while coming off as rude or cold towards others. chansol, being a pure and kind soul that he is, wasn't so hard for me to fall inlove with his character as well. he's got no bitterness and cliche uke personality in him and only radiates as himself: a real character in this story, an embodiment of his own name. what i liked about their bond is how undeniably strong their chemistry is together, and how they cant seem to go without the other. especially when the August case were solved and they now had the time to focus on themselves, their relationship progressed and are open to everyone. im ecstatic to see they're both vocal to their feelings and not covering them by sexual acts. maybe 'cause this is Shounen Ai and the unreasonable smegss and rape scenes are nonexistent here so it was overall a healthy read, but it was a good take and I'd rather read yet another BL without hot scenes provided that they'll all be wholesome but ofc, not being deprived of a lil fan service here and there as exactly what this story blessed me with;) to be frank, i didnt expect this story to have a deeper and interesting plot then i thought it would. the August case was intricate and smartly-played by Calvin, and this shows how this manhwa is actually capable of; that it's not just your regular BL romance but also beyond it. im so glad i invested my time to the right manhwa, and i honestly enjoyed the story. those little scenes of hanhoo and chansol are tirelessly adorably "nakakakilig" that truly never fails to set me on my feet and saving their saved picture in my albums lol. hanhoo's so perfect and chansol's an angel

November 18, 2024 6/10 i could not add the "Gangster" tag given that i only use mobile phone while reading, and yaoi should not even be included nor involved in this manhwa as this is pure shounen-ai, a light-hearted BL to read. what i like about this manhwa despite being short and aside for the fact that has a lot of potential, is the trope/dynamic between the two main characters. idk, it's just my thing. im honestly considering of searching yet another BL with this trope. another thing, is the slow-paced romance between the two. like, there wasn't sex all of a sudden just because they find each other attractive. maybe because this is intended to be shounen-ai that there wasnt sexual activities implied between them, HOWEVER, the sudden kiss was for me a random move and just makes me think that sexual identity crisis wasn't a thing for Yuseong at all. my boy didnt even hesitate kissing Jihwan lol. all in all, it was a cute (my fav) trope, entertaining but short-lived, and effortlessly funny chibis. pretty good read, honestly. wasn't really a waste of time to spend on my remaining hours of my free day. #LunesNoClasses'CauseOfBagyongPepitoOnWeekends #ArtIsSluggishInSomePartsButCouldStillPassCozOfTheColors
