aug 4, 2024 8/10 reading this made me agree to what the author said when they were planning on making a story which happened to be this very manga— i like messed up people where they protect what's important to them. it's just the two of them. a world that belongs entirely to two people. I've always liked it when the mcs are so smitten and inexplicably drawn to each other like a tight bond too strong to snap. with the love angie and sui found in each other, they made it seem as though they are each other's life line. with such dark past they respectively had, and having to meet and feel the warmth of love on the other person, they ought to not let go and just stay to their own solace. this story encompasses two people having to experience such dark and brutal way of living as service people where they just take what they're given whether it may be physical abuse, rape, among others, for they do not have the right to themselves as they were sold like meat to a market, delicious for the hungry bastards to consume. angie displayed such a strong character and continued to be despite being a now renowned love sick guy to his lover sui, who also showed great courage in the latest chapters where he joined Angie to his "work" and is even proud to do the good "deed" without having to label it as such. now love, courage, comfort and warmth is what they have in each other's embrace. #Angie×Sui #IJustLoveThemThey'reSoPreciousMangaSoGoodItHitDeepAndHard

sep 27, 2024 6/10 short, but beautiful the story seemed strange from the start, having a sense of uncanny mood from the characters to the obvious subtlety of the other details. the boy is unknowingly a victim of his uncle's mindbreak. this manga is interesting

october 6, 2024 6.7/10 a really interesting manga, i would say. their relationship was anything but fast-paced; it was a bit of a psychological and anticipates you with their unexpected actions. they were rather unpredictable in a sense that me, a reader of countless BL, didn't expect they'd do a certain thing. as if they're human just like us, acting, saying, doing things on impulse, driven by a sudden desire and bursting within you enough to make you do a certain action. this is how humans are. conveyed in this manga are how actual people are in real life. sometimes, we dont get the result we wanted, for they've done instead what they'd do as an individual being. they have mind on their own, and they can decide what to do. and not because they're BL characters, they'd certainly follow a particular pattern. subsequently, in conclusion, this was honestly a good manga. slow and deep. makes you feel they're human. #Hikaru×HaruChildhoodBestFriend #TheyBeManipulatingEachOtherButExpectTheUnexpectedLol
