this manga takes you on an educational journey throughout the realm of art alongside the protagonist in the most compelling way possible (๑•ᴗ•๑) the visuals seen throughout this story are mesmerising and the characters are well fleshed out.

what to take from this manga — life goes on. truly a devastating read, will i ever recover? no. would i recommend this manga to people? no. was it the best psychological manga i have ever come across? yes.

this is an absolute hurricane of a read, there is so much drama and conflict going on that it can be hard to dictate what is happening at times but nonetheless, very realistic and representative of real life circumstances. the anime adaptation of this series left the ending pretty much open for interpretation but the manga has a strong sense of closure which broke my heart.

kind of an unsatisfying ending (?) there are spoilers ahead, to summarise — hanabi and mugi meet each other at a concert and accept each other’s love so there is a possibility of a genuine relationship beginning between the two but it seems pretty forced and cliche.
