LIKE SHE GOT THE DRAGON’S GEM AND HAD A PRETTY CUTSCENE AND WAS ABLE TO GO BACK TO HER WORLD TO SEE HER FAMILY AGAIN AND NOW SHE’S DATING IAN IN THE MODERN WORLD. And she was able to get over her fear of ppl looking at her and it’s so cute and sweet omg. Happy ending for all other than redhead poor guy. It’s sweet that at the end he was retelling the story so it’s like a loop yk? I wish second MLs could find a happy ending. Redhead spent sm of his life dedicated to her and sacrificed sm but let her go regardless bc he’s okay as long as she’s happy even if it’s not with him. THAT is true love. Like when he was able to make a wish he didn’t wish for his happiness or for the FL to love him but rather for her happiness. Also he’s so smart with the wish too… i wonder if ppl in the isekai world still remember the story…or maybe redhead is the only one that does and that’s why he’s telling ppl. Also for the drama’s ending to be changed too is crazy. Honestly probably one of the best isekais I’ve read in a while. And it’s not like a royalty isekai so it felt rlly fresh.

Okay I really liked this story. It has like all the tropes but it was done in a good way. Even tho it did follow those time travel tropes it also had its own charm to it. Like those forest stones with the ancient language text? The magical forest that is a different time compared to the rest of the world? I rlly liked it. Also the Emperor who is possessed and is able to control this disease that allows them to maintain his power and rule over the land and its people is so cool personally. One note is that the ending although nice makes me really fucking sad. Yes their family will be together but Luna, Jean, Banana, her asshole brother, her lady in waiting, they’re all going to die. Any friends outside of the family are going to die before them. And that is so fucking sad to me. Also I just realized ig bc she changed so much of the original timeline, her younger sister was never born.

Same universe as The Promise!!! But a prologue with different characters as we are now on the surface with axatas and humans!!! We finally get a glimpse at what life looks like for them. But it’s a prologue bc half axata-humans don’t have any powers yet since they haven’t discovered the way to unlock their potential. It’s quite a compelling story and I’m really interested to find out why she casted the curse on fne ML when he seems like he’s not that bad of a guy. Although he was extremely annoying at the beginning when yk he kidnaps the MC. But it’s similar to the ML in The Promise and I love that one so I can’t say much. Honestly the MC’s internal conflict with like if he’s a real person and not just a clone of another one is actually moving. Like I could feel his stress and existential crisis. When that asshole put the hair growing tjing in his hair. God. GEAR SYMBOL??? Dungeon mention!!! ITS NOT A PROLOGUE ITS A ALTERNATE STORY TAKING PLACE DURING THE SAME TIME FRAME!! Also bro. BRO THIS STORY IS TOP TIER. The tragic backstory for the FL is honestly so depressing. Every single person in her life have broken their promises. Bro. The ML is also quite sad although they don’t dwell on it as much. He’s so obsessed with revenge but falls in love with the person he thinks he’s getting revenge on. The tragedy of war is illustrated really well too. All these people were traumatized by a war they didn’t start and that didn’t really change or fix anything. FL was kidnapped, abused, and used her whole life only for them to try and kill her afterwards. The ML loses his parents. Ginger loses 3 of his siblings and his mother due to her trauma. Knight girl loses so many of her friends in the battles, and her sister isn’t able to spend as much time with her. It’s just tragic all around. The fact that the uncle brought ginger into the whole conspiracy is truly disgusting. Yes revenge and all that but is the true enemy really the “Sun Knight”? The little girl who’s been abused her whole life? She didn’t kill them, she only failed to protect them, but if the war hadn’t even started that wouldn’t have been an issue. Then dragging your nephew despite the fact he has built connections with the people involved. Wild shit. #141

Bruuuuuu. Okay firstly the place that Ian lived in sounds like HELL. All religion do is lie . Secondly, ML CHILL YOU’RE GIVING IAN AN IDENTITY CRISIS. That cardinal needs to chill out. Bi king!! UGHHHH SUCH A GOOD STORY HOLY SHIT. My biggest criticism is that they could’ve made ML 18 at the start of the story there’s no reason for him to be 16 . He can still fullfill the young naive troupe by being 18!!! And it would make the MC and ML interactions in Abyss Arena a bit less ummm illegal? They never actually do anything ig but the little sprinkles of fluff would’ve been sm better if I didn’t have to think about the age gap. OKAY BUT LIKEEE I LOVE THE CONCEPT. Firstly video game isekai is amazing!!! I love the different challenges in the game—squid game vibes. AND THE PLOT TWIST AT THE END??? It’s just such a well written idea and I love how the characters interact in it. Especially the girl and her deadbeat bf—like on the surface they seemed like the perfect couple but in reality they were no where close—her choice to kill both herself and her bf was seriously such a selfless act. It finally gave the ML a natural-ish way to show his true self and feelings to the MC and really reduces the whole “dad and son” dynamic they were really trying to push for some reason. Altho the arc is no where close to being as interesting and the main story it’s just nice to see their relationship expand. My heart was flustering so much reading this. I feel alive.

Like I cannot get ENOUGH of the forbidden love troupe (which is why I like BLs sm I think LMAO) ITS JUST TOO GOOD. Witch vs war hero and how they FALL IN LOVE??? I LITERALLY CANT. FL’s husband deserved to die!!! I would’ve killed him myself. She’s such a girlboss. She’s just like “nah why would I confess to this?” and makes herself famous bc of how little shits she gives. Honestly I just really enjoyed the whole story, the backstories were timed out really well and really added to it instead of dragging on for too long (unlike some other stories). Okayyyyy so firstly god this could’ve been sm better if it wasn’t translated by LALAMANGA. FOR ALMOST ALL THE FUCKING SERIES. Secondly, while I enjoyed it, it was so hard to understand (thanks Lalamanga) so I can’t really say how good or bad the plot is. I get the gist of it tho. I wish the MC’s new body actually looked different from his old one bc they’re literally IDENTICAL. Same colors same facial structure same body same everything—like no he should’ve recognized you??? Especially since they swap back to his og body half way thru the story anyways so it’s not that big of a sacrifice. I think ML is what Hua Cheng would’ve been like if Xie Lian died el oh el. ALTHOUGH. Hua Cheng waited for how many years for him??? My guy couldn’t even wait 10 before going bat shit crazy. I think the whole sacrificing thing is kinda pointless if they js get revived but it makes for a nice ending so it’s okay ig. If the demons r that stupid how did the people get tricked by them. Also the demon realm isn’t even that scary. The demons literally look like humans? It wasn’t even dangerous . Also the part where they’re like “oh you’re one soul split in 2!!!” was not surprising at all. Like yeah obviously. With how much the MC prided himself on him and the ML’s teacher-student and father-son relationship it’s kinda wacky they got married no? He did kinda raise him…….. IDKK. I mean for what it’s worth it’s a solid read. Like the art is pretty. For me it was like Heaven Official’s Blessing x Demonic Cultivation, which r both better (no offense). Idk the second plot with him going into the demon world was boring it’s like the worst version of the first plot. They defeated the heavens so easily too!! Like it was barely a chapter. Anyways yuh!! If the translation were better I’d be all for it bc of how pretty the art is but LALAmanaga!

Ehhhhjhh. Not bad not great either it’s pretty average all things considered. The concept was cool but it was so unfinished and kinda weird??? Idk like sometimes I like when the ML is obsessive and stuff but this one like didn’t feel developed at all. All the characters felt super flat and not all that interesting. The plot too like didn’t go anywhere . You have this whole cool system to work with and it barely impacts the plot. Also they never answered any of the questions like yk why does the MC have overwhelming mana???? Also they just dropped the crown prince at one point and we never see him again. Like okay buddy. The MC’s family is nice but they’re so flat and annoying I can’t. Yeah so pretty mild manhwa.
