Not gonna lie, this story is fucked. Both the characters are bad people in their own ways so what they do to each other is understandable considering they both are criminals? Not saying their actions are justifiable in any way tho. Still, despite it all- I like the story. The characters grow to care about each other and become more then just enemies. Idk. For SURE a fucked story I would not recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome story. That is not this manga. (Only visible for myself due to the nature of this manga)

I like the first story, not the biggest fan on the second.

This manga has the most well thought out story when it comes to having characters that live in a society different then our own. It has poignant commentary about living in a rapidly shifting world. It tackles the real challenge that many cultures face- whether to embrace change or reject it. The romance between the characters is exceptional and the willingness they both have to embrace the culture of the other is inspiring. Not only is this a cute manga about two people finding their love for one another, but it’s also about the significance of the place we call home. One of my most favorite things I’ve ever read for sure.

OH BOY... god this was long and sometimes, it was killing me with the drama. But!!! It was all worth it! The ending was beyond compare and I just love the two main characters.

Oh my god the twists and turns in this story holy FUCK. Rlly interesting emphasis on body image and how it’s your choice to do what u want to ur body. Love how Andou supports Kishiwada’s future goal of having top surgery! Can’t wait to see where this goes lol
