The relationship between the main characters is so adorable, and done in a good way. I don’t trust most things pairing up a teacher and their former student, but this manga sets boundaries. It makes it very explicit that they never had any kind of relationship beyond being a teacher and student when Kiyomasa was still in school, and that they only got together when they met again later when Kiyomasa was an adult.
