somehow a lackluster ending. which is less of a criticism as it sounds, because i just really wanted... more. the art is lovely, the themes are very deep as in a coming of age story, it's just a shame that it felt so open ended. they still have a lot of issues to face that i would love to read, i am really cheering for them.
i just feel a lot of bittersweetness when fleshed out characters that went through so much don't get to... be happy. in a paradox, i only feel this (sort of negative) way about this piece because i liked it so much.
