BIG RANT (sorry): As a photographer myself, I fucking hate the MC. "Photography has its thrills... but it comes with a certain shadiness that sticks with you. That moment when you snap a picture through the viewfinder feels like peeping." That is your fetish speaking. You have a fetish for voyeurism and are projecting it onto your photography during shoots where that is a completely unjustifiable statement. The standard commercial fashion shoots he was doing are in no way shady nor feel like peeping. Street photography can REALLY feel shady and like peeping. (I had to do my street photography assignment during Covid lockdowns when there were no crowds to blend into, so it was extra awkward.) Portraiture can also be incredibly intimate to the point where it feels like peeping. The works of Jess T. Dugan come to mind (highly recommend). I'm just very frustrated with this perpetuation of stigma surrounding an art form that is so misunderstood and I now find liberating. If he were a street photographer, then he'd have a point. We all have the right to take photos in public, but it can feel weird having people in your camera roll who did not know or even want to be there. But he's doing studio photography - the most controlled form of photography there is - and still feeling like a perv. His class is doing still-lifes next and he'll still probably cream himself over it. He's a fucking disgrace to the profession. And to his fetish. He can't even take creep shots properly? Loud ass DSLR? Whole body hanging over the stall? Hello? Can't be a proper photographer and can't be a proper pervert - just a proper idiot... Maybe he'll be a proper dog. Love the bottom, tho. 10/10
