I love me some slow burn and friends to lovers story

It was kinda hard to read most of the dialogue or is it just me. Based on my understanding, their relationship is like both brothers and lovers at the same. The overall concept of the story is interesting, and their dynamic is weirdly beautiful

one of my absolute favorite danmei novels and my favourite dystopian novel to date. Shisi is a genius writer and it trult deserves a manhwa adaptation with god-tier art style

the last season made up for all the frustration I had with the MC when he’s overly inlove—annoying, naive and just dumb in love. Hes transparent yes, but he’s overly emotional, selfish and really dumb when in love. He couldnt also stick to his resolve—one moment he’d say he doesnt have the audacity to ask anything in return but then begs the ML to even pretend to say he liked him c’mon. However, he slays in the last season like wow he truly gave everything to cut tie with ML and he wasn’t easily swayed. The ML truly had a hard time getting him back *applause overall it’s entertaining, ansty and quite uncomfortable read as well due to the sxl abuse the MC suffered from so yea read at your own risk. This is so cute and awkward and entertaining read. Their dynamic is so refreshing and quite realistic and I love how the MC slowly explores his sexuality and eventually realises his love for our adorable puppy like ML. I also love how theres no unnecessary drama or angst involved like the ML literally wanted to get his revenge but he fell deeply in love instead thats so endearing

This is one of those manhwas wherein not only you find the main couple adorable and cute, the side couple/s are equally cute and endearing too. The characters and their respective romantic relationships are all interesting and to be honest this is such a nice and realistic storytelling of an idol life. It’s not always rainbow and sunshine but more on like working hard to achieve your goals despite all the hardships you face—including dealing with nasty people who want to ruin you. All in all it’s an interesting read and the art style might not be the best but it improves a lot. I wish Doah and Hyunoh have a separate story I actually love them.

3.5 stars This is probably one of the bestest historical bl fantasies Ive ever read. I love the world-building, the political scheming and most of the characters are interesting. I adore Levenoad Von Strahss—hes smart, cunning, beautiful, ethereal, powerful, elegant and him as the reincarnated Ray is also a fvkng badass. Despite his amazing strategic nature, I love how he also acknowledges his mistakes and owns up to them. He might be hard-headed at times but hes also a lowkey softie. El Jiskar Fascher is the kind of toxic ML I want to be served as a main course—I love how unhinged and obsessed and possessive he is—hes willing to even dug his heart out for his beloved Ray and turned into a madman when MC ran away damn I eat this shit. Hes down bad that he’s basically the real slave between them from the moment they first met as crown princes, it’s Ray who owned Jiskar and not the other way around. I just dont like the age gap and their smexy scenes are quite uncomfortable to read. How I wish Ray could have been a little older or the same age as Levenoad. The pacing at the later chapters seems a bit rush and I was actually hoping for an arc wherein theres gonna be confrontation between Ray and the people from his homeland though the story still managed to make the conclusion quite satisfying. This is a good and entertaining read.
