Im reading this one on manta and though it is somewhat enjoyable to read and the art style is cute, the plot is pretty mid and theres nothing particularly interesting about it. I find the FL pretty but character-wise shes kinda meh. But hey, I ship her with both the ML and the crown prince

The trope is childhood-friends-expected-to-be-enemies-but-became-lovers-because-they-mutually-adore-each-other Etienne, the main character, is a sickly omega (but a dominant one) pretending to be a beta to maintain his status as a crown prince since no omega is allowed to be an emperor. He’s sick because of his evil mom, the grand empress, who makes him drink magic potions to hide his real secondary gender. Even though dominant omegas are considered treasures in their kingdom since they are rare and powerful, they cannot take over the throne due to a law that forbids them to be kings/emperors. Rishar, the male lead, is a dominant alpha and Etienne’s childhood friend. He is basically a walking green forest. I really adore him. I like the political scheming here and hate a lot of characters especially the king and the empress. The king is the terrible dad who never steps up, not only he neglects Etienne but he wants Shar to be the crown prince instead of his own son. The empress hates her own son, hates Rishar, hates her husband, she basically hates everyone. I just enjoy the romance between Etienne and Shar theyre so adorable and the sexy scenes are spicy enough. So far this is one of my favorite historical omegaverse stories
