I do think Peony came in too heavy with superficial feelings/thoughts about Richt, but I do get her fan girl heart. I think in many respects no one thinks that they'd actually meet someone they read about or who was in an otome. They can only ask what would they do if they were there or how could things turn out differently or of course wish they were there or are grateful they're not. In any case I wonder if it was possible for Peony to slowly befriending the fallen prince or start courting him because she is a complete stranger to him, he's had his heart stamped on and his original home ripped away from him of course he'd be in pain and different from how he was before. I read in one of the comments that he's drowning in dispair and I think her intention to make him happy and perseverance is impressive, but his distrust is warranted given his current position. Why didn't she ever relay those well thought out reasons for marriage before instead of leaving him with your good looking? I like that she's letting him see the light again, but I think she could've put much more thought into gaining his trust. Anyway, I look forward to more of the cute moments between them.

I'm really interested in learning more about the ML's background, so far it looks like this will definitely be a slow burn romance between the ML that wouldn't made a great 2nd ML in the original, but if we're being real even if the prince shows up all cool...he can't beat the depth Kaiser's character and the potential. Plus, I want the FL to live long like no one expects her too!

I like how believable it is that they actually get to learn about each other and love each other after they're already married.
