I Am Troubled That My Fiance Is a Villain
Definitely has a deifferent feel to it as the female character actually wasn't obsessed with the otome world that she's reincarnated into, but I've played otome where you can switch love interests while on someone else's rout always seemed a bit wrong because you didn't get their full story that way. But it's interesting that the female character gets to know a main supporting character well along with a love rival for the heroine sense they're just as much of apart of the story as the others and it really grabbed my attention when Lizz keyed in on Bern's sadness in his smile and wanted him to fully enjoy himself by showing him her genuine self. I really like them together! Also, Bern's sister Katerina has a cute yet intense side about her like Lizz says it made me laugh when she wanted to be called dear sister.
Sincerely: i Became a Duke’s Maid
The dark curse that envelopes Alejandro seems to be caused by or at least it doesn't help his condition at all by the fact that for so long he didn't have something that every creature needs to thrive...love...affection...someone to hold your hand and quell your fears...someone to just be there. I was thinking I've seen some pretty crummy parents but his...wow...I get that you both had a political marriage but at least love your child don't take all your misery out on him. I really like Ibelina she pretty much goes with the flow when she gets reincarnated into her current web novel, but she recognized that Alejandro got dealt a terrible hand in life and even when he found love that love abandoned him for a male protagonist who wasn't even in the story that long...anyway I like how Ibelina knows the root cause of Alejandro's temper tantrums and is so patient and kind with him it's really beautiful to watch how their relationship develops.
The Villiainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom
I definiatetly like the otome geared mangas because I always wonder what happens with characters after, but for all the full of potential villains and villainesses I wonder does it always have to be a bad end for them or isn't there more to there life then glorifying the hero and heroines. What if the fabled heroine is dawned by someone who doesn't actually see people's true colors or isnt kind but possesses all the nice abilities? What if the villainess was just nagging you to be the best version of you you can be and not meaning anything nasty? I think it's ironic that until the female protagonist became the villainess she didnt understand her intentions and also that her favorite love interest isn't very observant, but the prince that would get his own sequel otome would dote on her so sweetly shocks even her---he's so cool and he doesnt even care about any other girl that comes his way!
The Justice of Villainous Woman
I think it's interesting how before the female protagonist died she stood up to bullies and tried her best to live a life where she could be herself and be happy even if that wasn't what her family was about...I'm mean they were super sexist...but she didn't become bitter or mean to others...I definitely think her "ex-boyfriend" and "friend" needed slapping and some sort of reasoning for backstabbing someone that was kind and loyal. I do like her internal struggle in her new life to be cunning and devious over being nice to everyone since in a way even though her body's former owner was bratty she did realize that like her friend that betrayed her in her previous life the crown prince's fiancé is two-faced and devious. The female protagonist is quite clever and I think the crown prince is clever and observant as well, plus the system in this world has more to do with actual skill over birth order which is nice! The fifth prince seems really warm and fun to hang out with. It's also funny when the female protagonist is trying to expose spies and she channels the spirit of evil step mothers and sisters (lol). Also, her new parents are so kind! I like the breakdown of the nobility/royal structure from baron to emperor as well as the difference between a maid and a lady-in-waiting I got some good education on that front, and the importance of of trying at least to mend poor familiar bonds--it's a sad thing to see a big brother that doesn't adore his lil sister but given his sister's original temperment it makes some sense.
Sabaku No Harem
The dynamic between Mishe and the third prince, Prince Kallum, is as funny as it is touching as one can see their relationship grow from where it started a woman with a heart of gold who was thought of as nothing more than a slave and a man who sees value in many things or people that catch his attention and truly wants a peaceful reign as king. What I love is the third prince doesn't barter with his wives and treats them all fairly, plus he's not just known for his looks he actually takes action be it thinking of how to out maneuver his rivals and delimmas or physically facing down an opponent. I like that Mishe had the makings of a queen right from the beginning and Prince Kallum sees all his wives as his pride and not mere tools...he also really cares about the people who serve him which makes one think he'd make a great king. I like Prince Johan even though he can be quite wicked with the face of an angel.
Why are you doing this, my Duke!? Webtoon
I can say I'm more of a fan of the hot-tempered, handsome, bloodthirsty, excelled at many things except love with a tragic past when the the path to love comes slow but sure and that hot-temperedness is still there but lessened, and cute jealousy arises but throwing magic in the mix is didn't like it at first like the characters. But if I think of it like one personality made from magic and the other his original like it is it's like he has dissociative personality disorder and it doesn't hurt the male protagonist to learn from his magic personality...I think there's an inevitable blending of warmth from one to the other which is nice!
