I kinda wish the story delved more into shamoon's background before coming but she wasn't able to be a chef or even choose who she wanted to marry. Now her love of food shines through...I want to eat eveything she makes! Plus her idea of making her own sauces and soap was such a great idea and the way magic is used is awesome, I mean elves (Yue Yue and Christian), mages, and dragons (Zi Yan) this world is pretty cool. Yinan has that dark mysterious thing going on with his past and tattoo (seal) on his chest...he definitely doesn't deserve the prejudice and I can't help but want to know more! As the story progresses I realize that Yinan wasn't as playful as before and his outfits and physique became much more princely and attractive which I'm not upset about...finding out that demons still lurk about, that Yinan is cursed, and that Christian, Zi lan, and Yinan make beautiful women is also awesome!
