A more interesting spin on omegaverse than the usual, but lacking in pretty much every other department. Confusing storyline, inconsistent art (especially for side characters) and plot holes I genuinely can’t tell if they came from the original story or if the translation wasn’t great. I kept sticking it out and honestly I wish that around chapter 5 when I thought to myself ‘this sucks I don’t want to finish it’ I would have listened … but unfortunately I never learn. Even the smut was bad. Like really bad. There was so much of it but it never changed from the same overstim dubcon power play. Just chapters and chapters of the top treating the bottom like a toy and degrading him with a smirk on his face and fucking his violently while he crys and begs and pleads for him to stop. And yet somehow he’s totally fine with it all afterwards even thought not one single chapter included a scene of the supposed caring loving top being like ‘hey you’re not fr when you say to stop while we fuck right’. It was so gross. And it somehow became even grosser when the plot hole that literally started the entire story tried to be fixed by it finally being ‘revealed’ that the bottom had been raped and recorded against his will. For someone who was so mad over the situation you’d think the top would have been like ‘hey I’m sorry that happened to you let’s talk about that’ or ‘wow. I am so sorry. Looking back I imagine I did not help your trauma tell me how moving forward we can be healthy and I can be good for you’ but nope. Nothing close. Also why this story need to include, in no particular order, all of the following: rape, coercion, mental abuse, physical abuse, unexplained side characters who played extremely important roles, the mafia (?), the police, I think like 10+ different countries, more explanation on how the MC’s are mixed breeds than literally the entire plot. Like okay its a weapon. The entire story was about getting their hands on this weapon. So why did it literally feel like a background side plot. Domineering CEO, spy’s, character death, nanobots?, apparently being millions of years in the future but with no changes to modern society, extremely important side characters that just kinda got set aside like that was so weird, human trafficking, an eating disorder??, a take on knotting that as a uterus haver made me want to throw up. Now that I’m thinking about it this story doesn’t even pass that one test. Because I think there was only one single female character and she of course literally never did anything without a male character also on screen. Unless you count the bottom’s (who if you missed the memo suffers from the usual ever-suffering-bottom syndrome) dead mom who appeared for one scene.
