Ch. 12 + Suddenly remember why I dropped this all those years ago. The emotional punch from the first chap is felt, but the pacing is terrible. The romance subplot is kinda distateful considering it's only four chapters in and the "hidden identity" + "meeting in secret" tropes is so out of place and gimmicky
