FL falls into ancient Japan. General loves her

I don't remember much aside from her flip-flopping between the worlds (ancient Egypt and modern) and her weird crush on her brother (?)

FL is killed after her uncle and cousin take over family. She goes back in time and kisses emperor at party to gain his trust. Makes deal of using one another and convinces him by being stubborn and manipulative after she heard that his brother lives. People in palace doubt her, but she easily wins mindgames. Gets closer to emperor and feared falling for him. Gets Memories of marrying him once already and doubts whether right choice. His aunt shows up and works with cousin and childhood friend of FL. Hunting festival and FL pushed in lake. Pretends to be dead as emperor punishes those that attacked him. She remembers first life in which cousin killed her for being empress. Emperor remembers too. He cleans up enemies Eventual attack by enemies and they win as her former friend remembers too and causes problems by belonging to neither faction. ML is poisoned as they defeat enemies and becomes suicidal while speaking about past life. FL wants to kill him but he returns to her just in time The romance seems to go fast. Like ML though and love FL. Their relationship is interesting and cute even when they can't trust quickly Political intrigue and characters are super interesting. I barely know whom to trust. Sometimes people act odd though. Like the secretary provoking her for no reason and the emperor not killing his enemies despite being tyrant. Speech is sometimes hard to understand since everyone is quite dramatic and doesn't say anything directly The ending had a few confusing points with characters doing stupid things. Yet, the ending wasn't rushed and kept the story in line with what happened before Cute side pairing and funny cast Rather grim and dark (almost theatre like scenes) but happy end. FL is to be married to prince that hates her, but saintess from Korea shows up. She is discarded and treated even worse. Snaps when father is killed and attacks emperor, who executes her. Second chance. FL chooses man that abused her and killed her father instead of picking two other choices (one suddenly yandere to make ML seem better). Rushed ending. 2021

FL is adopted by ducal couple since she looks like their deceased daughter. Brothers bully her, but she endures until ready to marry. Goes back in time though. Is annoyed since can't leave house and has to quarrel with children but grows closer to them. Parents die anyway though Aunt comes to house and bullies FL. FL doesn't trust brothers, but they eventually find out and help her. Brother struggles to keep family under control as siblings stay with friend's family for a few years. Then the reunite and navigate noble society. ML has fiancee, who loves prince and eventually gets with him. Engagement broken and he confesses to FL. Slow romance. Worried about reactions and brothers find out Random noble lady hates FL and troubles her numerous times. Tries to kill her duringhhunt and is caught. Arrested for life Suddenly evil aunt and uncle show up again and free girl to make her attack ML, who pretends to be hurt I really like the story and did so ever since first reading it. But I feel like it's a bit too quick and episodic sometimes. Scenes suddenly end or switch and important events happen far too quickly (like death of parents and time skip) Interesting family dynamic. Brothers are all interesting in their own way and conflict with parents is important too. Trauma seems to make all of them neglect or abuse each other. Not an excuse though. I find that the parents really messed up, and I personally wouldn't forgive a brother for pushing me outside in the snow either Also don't know why FL just let aunt beat her. She could easily have avoided that issue instead of enduring it for no reason. She also doesn't communicate when her brother's fiancee and the prince fall in love (brother doesn't love fiancee, so she could break off engagement and be happy) The story has some jarring plot twists, including that they inserted communication orbs into the story and never used them again. Also don't know why the siblings couldn't meet during time skip. Seems odd. Antagonists have no agency and are comically evil. Don't know why ML (who allegedly kills do quickly) can't just deal with them before they cause issues I knew who the ML was before but still wasn't fond of beginning of romance. It happened too quickly without any changing signs. Also feels odd since ML suddenly started saying super possessive stuff. Don't like that the other brother likes her too and that all family members seem to adore her and have no other connections in life Feel like the regression part was unnecessary. The story mainly progressed as it originally did anyway. The last story points felt odd, a bit too boring and simple. The enemies were weak and the plot twist about FL being noble (apparently added in manwha) was never hinted at. Overall strong beginning but quite weak end 11/05/23
