2020s? Shounen ai Mc gets is rebirthed thanks to a goddess to live his life again. This time around, hell make sure to avoid what bright him to ruin the first time, specifically the evil emperor! Update: So, everyone can agree that Rebirth has a compelling premise, but CANNOT follow through with it's weak storytelling. The execution is bad. Ideas get dropped & they don't get explored enough. The emperor didn't really have much of a redemption arc. There was no beginning, build up, climax, then end with the MC's feelings. I feel he easily accepted him. These are some of the things that bother me. 2/26/22. So the story finally ended. It was not executed well at all. There were several plot threads that were forgotten and never answered. It had a lot of potential that led nowhere. The execution felt lazy most times. You can tell when someone has given up. I say this because most shots are very similar (always limited to face or waist up shots) & the art could be sloppy at times. That being said it was so cool concept idea and for that I enjoyed reading. I like that it had a happy ending. I still enjoyed this even though it's not perfect.

Servant is mistreated & forced to sexually serve his overbearing, mean Master. The Master takes in his father's illegitimate child, Collin. The servant forms a bond with this boy. But, Collin is soon sent away to boarding school. Him & the servant meet again once he comes back as a mature, refined young man. Waiting for updates... 4/05/22: Season 2 started! This is a frustrating read. Like, stop trying to make like the Duke! I don't care how sexy you draw him, he's an abusive creep. Obviously the villain in my eyes. Hope Collin can overcome. Update: I'm starting to hate this. It doesn't want to do anything with the fact that the Ein is being sexually abused. Uke keep getting rape or endanger of rape

Royal setting with One woman & a harem of men. I read a ton of chapters but the romances don't go anywhere. The men are there as a tease practically.

7/15/22: So a high ranking police detective has a hazy one night stand and becomes pregnant. Only men from the royal family can impregnate someone regardless of gender. There's three men it could be. But really we all know who it is.. This one is frustrating... It follows tropes such as miscommunication, and uses them as a crutch for the story to progress. This is trash. Now that can be both good and bad. I don't mean that in a hateful way, but just that it is what it is. C'mon MC, you're too slow on the uptake! I read everything. This was interesting but stupid....

Alright read, but I've seen these characters & this pairing before. Standard yaoi that feels kinda heteronormative.

Waiting for updates 04/11/23: This one is super cute. I re-read it cuz it's been a while. MC acts a guide for a prince who wants to get to know Japan in order to compile a book & promote tourism between his country & Japan.

Pretty damn good so far! Duke is reliving his life & trying to make the right choices to help everyone, while also falling in love & building a relationship with the Knight. Waiting for season 2

This literally had so much potential. Nice historical, royal setting, cool world lore, a re-encounter plot where sweet childhood friends are separated by their royal / social class only to meet again as adults in reversed roles. This was the ingredients for something good!! BUT-- they ruined it by making the sweet childhood friend into some Dom asshole who rapes the uke on their first encounter. Like bruhh--really? What a stereotypical & to ic way to ruin the story so early on. That's the second story I've read at the same time to do that... THIS WAS SO GOOD BITCH LIKE GODDDD..!!!!!

wow.. It's the same premise that has been popular in BL lately that I love!: MC is whisked off to another exotic, desert land to marry gorgeous, dark skinned prince. I love desert settings, I love the exoticism, and I love hunky dark skinned princes. I just don't like when they make them haughty assholes. However this story has enough sense to confront that and have the MC actively repulsed by the prince's personality. And to make it better and romantic, the prince said he's willing to change for him and put in the work. You never read that in a manga and I love it! Also, the drawings are lovely. Both in the characters and the settings. Waiting for updates.
