I actually find it insulting on the uke's behalf for the seme to have so little faith in his partner, like wouldn't you resolve this insecurity before getting married? You'd think all the years of them both mutually loving each other & then choosing to spend their lives together would give seme more confidence. But I suppose the author just wanted an easy plot to facilitate sex, which is fine. I can ignore.
