2019?. Great artsyle which matches the time period yet looks unique. Good character designs giving a uniform look fitting their society while showing distinct personalities. Character stories feel fleshed out; we get to know their past, their feelings, their behavior. Really cool that I learned historical bits of info while reading.

2000. Story focuses on the interpersonal relationships of girls & their interactions. There is also a consciousness of the time period in addition to this. This shows girls' roles in society. Girls do not feel passive; they have their desires & act on them. It's interesting to see how they live. This manga particularly contrasts how girls in the present have freedom in contrast to the restrictiveness of the past. Thoughtful contemplation of relationships in present (being cheap & shallow) & thoughtful in characterizing youth ( being capricious, risky, but full of freedom). I love that this was mature & gave realistically bold depictions of real life. Brilliant! Great writing. After throwing in different threads, the messages came full circle. Nice balance of realism & sweet messages about living.

Kid from the present day '90s spends time at his Uncle Trevor's house in NY to sightsee, on the condition to help his Uncle clean his study. While tidying he finds an old journal.. This story takes place in the 1970s & is about Uncle Trevor's love with a man named Gene. Too beautiful for words so far. I hope this gets completed one day

Fucked past & present story of a serial killer & a hypocritical priest in a church. 6/5/22: I might need to revisit this one again sometime. This was really doing cool things

2006. Wealthy young man visits a male prostitute daily.

Good costumes & detailing. Love page layouts & set up of overlapping drawings with panels. Action at it's best looks stylish & dynamic. There is a flowy uncontained style. Love the amount of space dedicated to pauses or quiet moments. The environments are moody & informational. Certain shots chosen are really unclear in showing action. Sometimes the drawings themselves can be awkward in showing action. Background characters have no faces. It's cheesy in that only the beautiful cool people are the main characters. There is a bit of same face syndrome.

2020s? Shounen ai Mc gets is rebirthed thanks to a goddess to live his life again. This time around, hell make sure to avoid what bright him to ruin the first time, specifically the evil emperor! Update: So, everyone can agree that Rebirth has a compelling premise, but CANNOT follow through with it's weak storytelling. The execution is bad. Ideas get dropped & they don't get explored enough. The emperor didn't really have much of a redemption arc. There was no beginning, build up, climax, then end with the MC's feelings. I feel he easily accepted him. These are some of the things that bother me. 2/26/22. So the story finally ended. It was not executed well at all. There were several plot threads that were forgotten and never answered. It had a lot of potential that led nowhere. The execution felt lazy most times. You can tell when someone has given up. I say this because most shots are very similar (always limited to face or waist up shots) & the art could be sloppy at times. That being said it was so cool concept idea and for that I enjoyed reading. I like that it had a happy ending. I still enjoyed this even though it's not perfect.

After killing a man in self defense, a knight must rely on the protection of a Duke in exchange for his body. Drawings are very nice. Update: *heavy breathing* I like this so much. Every interaction with Elric & the Duke has me excited. This could have been a disaster but so far, the author is bringing out the best parts of this. Whenever the mc & the Duke are having sex in his room, there's such a feeling of privacy & intimacy I get drunk off reading. Beautifully executed. If there's anything good in the world, update please!!!! 4/05/22: It updated! Hooray, hooray! Edit 6/5/22: >>SPOILERS FOR ENDING<< So I did not even foretell an ending was coming. I'm shocked this happened because I thought we were at least another 30 chapters away from an ending. And I don't just say that because all the other BL webtoons reach at least 60 chapters, but because of the progress between the two characters. For me personally, it's a little bit of a letdown because Illic still absolutely HATES the Duke. No development on his character was made. Now, the Duke took down his enemies, became king, and fell in love with Illic, so on his side, there's plenty of development. But it breaks my heart because he's the only one who fell in love. In the end his affections are still not returned. And it sucks, because that's what us readers wanted to see! I wanted to watch their unlikely relationship turn from hate to love, MUTUALLY, but it didn't happen. So in the end, it goes for a joke ending where Illic punches the Duke again, and it's meant to be funny. Like, "there they go~! again the same old same old". I like joke endings and wished I could've laughed too. I hope we can see a little something more in the side stories coming up. (C'mon Illic, I'm just waiting for you to open your heart to LOVE) So I didn't like that part of the writing but, I did like plot events and the arc it took. I guess the ending began when Illic tried to finally run away, but of course as we all know, the Duke is hella powerful and there's no way you're escaping him. They (sorta) resolve Illic's murder accusations within his fellow mercenaries. To which the Duke reveals to us, "Who cares? I'm going to be King anyways! They can't touch us!" The Duke is kind of a badass

Servant is mistreated & forced to sexually serve his overbearing, mean Master. The Master takes in his father's illegitimate child, Collin. The servant forms a bond with this boy. But, Collin is soon sent away to boarding school. Him & the servant meet again once he comes back as a mature, refined young man. Waiting for updates... 4/05/22: Season 2 started! This is a frustrating read. Like, stop trying to make like the Duke! I don't care how sexy you draw him, he's an abusive creep. Obviously the villain in my eyes. Hope Collin can overcome. Update: I'm starting to hate this. It doesn't want to do anything with the fact that the Ein is being sexually abused. Uke keep getting rape or endanger of rape
