Promising. It has a mysterious & suspicious vibe. Edit 4/08/23: I've been reading this for a while & am several chapters in. It's unfortunate but it's starting to lose me. There's not much going on in the story & I don't know where it's going. The way the characters act is awkward too (in terms of real life logic). The love interest isn't charming because he's still too much of a closed book for me. Other than being his savior, I don't know what about the love interest specifically appeals to MC. The interactions between the two aren't charming either, just awkward. OK now I know what it is. The characters have no personality, especially the mc's love interest. He has zero personality & always wears the same boring, arrogant expression on his face. He never seems passionate or romantic for the mc. This ain't it.
