I have to say that the happy ending in the side story was a relief b/c I cried my eyes out with the ending of the original series!! Beautifully drawn and executed story of a boy presumed to have murdered someone on the night of the openings ceremony of the '88 Olympic opener in Seoul. He becomes a fugitive and eventually meets a guy just discharged from the army nomad traveling because being gay is not acceptable in his home. They meet, become close, fall in love, and sadly become fugitives together with a very tragic finale.

Plowed thru this one! Such a great story of closeted gay from conservative family but great relationships with 2 sisters who falls for novelist, who in turn had some abandonment issues. Very realistic.

I hesitated at first because of the power hungry cop vs. the powerless convict, and the initial rape scene I absolutely love this one. I own it on Lezhin because it totally redeemed itself and the cop turns out to have some of the best lines - super funny and on-point.

Although typical of what I think is Chinese Manhua, this is a very slow burn but I liked it. The boy thrown out by his father to be mastered by what turn out to be the leader of a demonic cult falls in love and navigate their adult lives together. He becomes a man once he protects his pregnancy and the demon lover realizes the no betrayal took place. One take away - communication is not their strong suit!!

The art style is stunning but the story is dark, gruesome, and relentless. I plowed through it because I'm desperate for the redemption arc ... but I fear it will not come. The repeated gang rapes, sexual assaults, endless physical and psychological torture is hard to take. But the story is so compelling, it's hard to put down.

Albeit black & white, it works! Story of dead kid by suicide who is revived by Russian drug-making man who lives in the outskirts of Nevada. Interesting love story with some, as yet unknown backstory.

Former judo phenom's father gets into debt and son pays price but becomes a manager for his former crush who is now famous model. Their lives have interconnected history which is revealed at S1 end. Interested to see the relationship develop. Hopefully they can be open and honest and figure out their shared history?

Hesitant at first because of the abusive BF situation but it develops nicely into a romance between the ML and the 2nd ML who is a dentist. That relationship is healthy and mature. On extended hiatus right now ... hoping it will resume soon so that the 2 MLs can grow their relationship.

Although not a fan of the first season b/c of the typical omegaverse trope of poor communication and total misunderstanding, I when he had the baby without the 2ML and the whole denouement of that plot/storyline..the kids was super, too!
