Midnight Dweller
Although typical of what I think is Chinese Manhua, this is a very slow burn but I liked it. The boy thrown out by his father to be mastered by what turn out to be the leader of a demonic cult falls in love and navigate their adult lives together. He becomes a man once he protects his pregnancy and the demon lover realizes the no betrayal took place. One take away - communication is not their strong suit!!
Bad Friend
I'm really enjoying this one. The love/hate friendship when they were young apprentices, the discovery of their physical intimacy, and now their adult need to be together despite their "enemy" status works beautifully together. I look forward to the rest ...
To be or not to be
Despite it being of the traditional flowy, long hair always waving in the non-existent wind, Chinese style, I plowed through this one after starting it on tappas. I simply loved it. The ML was reincarnated into an ancient emperor from a popular present day novel and keeps trying to steer the story back to its original plot despite the fact that he's the one falling in love with the 2nd ML, another deposed then brought back to current emperor! The illustrations were glorious and the story pace never slows down. I was saddened when his first stint as emperor ends in tragedy but was happy to see him reincarnated as an almost identical self as a king! Even the flash forward to the present CEO with all the side characters who had died back in his life was sweet.
Keeper of the Pearl
Although I think some of it was lost in translation, I really enjoyed this story of their developing love and the retelling of the Joseph Dynasty version of the prince and his ill-fated love. The flash back happening when the current alpha is unconscious was a nice way to take the time to tell the whole back story. I shed some tears when the Omega figured out that the dragon that was visiting in his dreams was actually his 3rd pregnancy and the unborn child that was never born b/c he was killed by the prince in the JD era. I loved the epilogue of the grown children loving each other and their loving and caring family.
Stranger
Stumbled on this one b/c of the title ... Japanese manga with white American cowboy and Native American Indian... an interesting combo, that surprising works very well!! Short and sweet story.
Steel Under Silk
I hesitated at first because of the usual seggual aggression at the beginning but the 2ML kept up his spunk and didn't give in easily although did do what is necessary to survive. The political intrigue is well presented as is the interactions between the MLs.
Double Bell
So this turns out to be an anthology of multiple stories (find list in comments - a total of 30'ish chapters) ... just starting story 2...
