Kiko's manga / #Gangster(7)

This is definitely one of my favorites! Everything about it works; illustrations, story, character development, humor, timing, and plot! I love the stylized drawings that highlight the character's personalities and enhance the story arc. My heart is aching and I'm crying because it's over. Absolutely *loved* this one; this is a do-over-read-again-and-again webcomic. Buying it on Lezhin and would love to own books, if ever available. Note to self: English books are printed & I just got V.1 in the mail, pre-ordered V.2 (11/18/2023)

I started this one officially but ended it up here b/c I couldn't stand the deep & depraved ML. Once again ... onto the child, the sins of the father theme prevailed and it was soooo depressing and I couldn't see an end in sight! I finished it here to see how it would end. I'm glad that the ending was hopefully and bright but man what a slugfest! I probably wouldn't have paid for this, it was just SO dark for so many episodes.

I totally love this one. Wasn't a fan of the shooting and then forcing his lover when he thought he was leaving him but overall a great story paced really well!

Worth every minute. Hard start with blood and violence but smooths out with love and beauty - a gem! Probably want to own it in PPB, too.

A little taboo and somewhat risque... love between a father figure (by relationship only - not blood) and his "son" in a gangster environment. I'm actually liking it a lot b/c it is so off-the-beaten-path. We shall see...
