Kiko's manga / #Beautiful Art(72)

Absolutely loved this one - plowed through all 70+ chapters (which are more like books for each chapter) and couldn't get enough. Japanese manga about 2 AV actors who at first are competitors and un-attracted to each other but as they mature and grow out the AV business, they are together. The majority of the chapters are them together experiencing life and its many ups & downs. Great adult material, too.

Struggled with the dubious consent throughout the beginning chapters and as usual the dominant one NEVER listened when the non-dominant one said NO .... drives me absolutely crazy. But the last chapter with the love confession was sweet and the evening beach was scene was beautifully drawn.

I plowed through this one! Even shed some tears at the pregnancy and baby moments!! As with most omegaverse, the love-hate-tug-pull beginning was predictable but it definitely grabbed me with the unusual plot of omegas being extinct and Alphas being alone. I loved the art work too - soo pretty.

**ANYTHING** by Upi is on my list of *love it*!! This is a short but very sweet story of younger ML confessing and waiting for older ML to reciprocate. Love the style of the B&W drawings and the subtle changes in solid lines to almost shadowed lines.

I plowed through this one! Wasn't sure about the "joining club initiation" was seggs but once the ML2 warned him what was about to happen, I liked the idea that one person could break through the psychopath's wall. Sad about gang rape of sister ... quelle surprise though that woman was once again the victim- NOT. Didn't like the several references about being/crying like a woman to debase women- that was a weak argument.

Plowed through this one b/c i loved the idea that the Dom ML was respectful and honest. Not lies, angst, or misunderstanding to make plot move. Just a interesting office romance story about a newbie and his hot boss! 2.19.2024- reread it and upped to 5 stars. I love the art and the love story development. The top balances his power-top with his love side well.

I absolutely loved this one! Plowed through the mature version ... just waiting for the last several chapters. Loved the main ML's vulnerability but also strength and determination to have his vampire and eat him, too ;) the relationship was normal and mature with both ML's being strong and weak ... not so one side like so many seme/uke BLs.

There's something about this one that I find absolutely captivating. It's definitely in my top 10. The illustrations are so clear and fine and the dialog is simple and to-the-point; no extra lines or words needed. The contrast with the B&W and the only additional color red is brilliant.
