The Art of Taming A Tiger
When I started this one, I really loved it but despite being from Kidari studio, it's dragging and I'm not loving it anymore! I liked the 2 MLs and the story development, it took awhile to get into the backstory with the younger brother and the vengeful god but now it's loosing its appeal, sadly. Stopped buying it on Lezhin but will see where it goes here.... 3/20 ‐ up to chpts 91 (chpts 90 is a good one) better dynamics between the 2MLs and his brother!
Hana to Junketsu
So beautiful and touching. Loved the art illustrations and the sweetness of the characters. The extras were great, too - a little insight into their fun personalities!
ROUGE (KATSURA Komachi)
Struggled with the casualness with which the rapes were accepted and commonplace. Most young men would be destroyed by that type of behavior and indifference from school society. The love that comes to him later via Nagano was beautiful and heart warming
Pearl Boy
At first, I wasn't a fan b/c of the violence and constant abuse despite Pearl Boy being the one with the unique gift. But by the end of season 1, both characters warmed up for me. I also enjoyed the back story for the 2ML.
King's Maker Triple Crown: Mature Version
The art is stunning and the historical yet not so much story is interesting, I did find it a little long and disjointed in some parts. But especially *loved* the use of color- the yellows, oranges, blues were simply stunning and the "stained glass" windows through out the palace were spectacular.
Unromantic
Starts with usual cliche but enjoyed how the romance developed. Both MLs were well written and super cute. Started B&W and ended in color beautifully.
Ani no Senaka
Short but beautiful story of "forbidden" love from a younger brother towards his widowed brother-in-law.
Uchi no Ani no Renai Jijou
I totally love stories with societal taboos! Step-brother loves brother in his adopted family. This kind've love seems so natural b/c we ask kids to love each other when not biologically related but still "in a family" but then frown when that love is not familial but romantic! Will try to buy book.
