I wont be rereading this for the "good" ending. PLEAASE tell me i missunderstood the side story cause, I regret reading the side story, i wish i had just stopped at the main story.
The main story was a HEA, but the side story fucked it all up
SPOILERS FOR SIDE STORY...
I was ok with them living off for all eternity, since they were happy together and had all the time in the world to get through their pain, yet Chi hwan decided to sacrifice how much time he has to protect Sooin? Like.... why?
Sooin could protect Chi hwan, and Sooin said that he doesnt worry about the red hair dude killing him anymore, like there was no reason for this apart from "character development".
The only thing that could hurt them were vampires, but Sooin was fine with protecting him from said vampires, there was no reason for Chi hwan to sacrifice his eternal life to protect Sooin, like who he gonna protect HIM from???
When Chi hwan dies very eventually, im 100% sure Sooin would just kill himself because he wouldnt be able to handle being a vampire all on his own.
Normally when a story ends with a HEA and theyre both human, its fine cause theyll die happy and old together
But with Vampire stories, imo for a HEA, theyd need to become immortal. So removing it after having it before ruins it for me, The only thing i can think about is how Sooin will be depressed like he was at the start of the story.
Idk about you but this doesn't sound like a HEA, its so damn bittersweet
I must have understood something wrong because everyone is saying this was a good read, no it wasnt??? If thats the ending then absolutely not???
