I've said before I am quite done with passive half-assed nekos. Plot that drags right from the start. It had a Mexican "telenovela" feel to it that I found to be repulsive. I couldn't get into the tone: it deals with heavy subjects but remains a little too innocent. The reviews lied. I gave it 2* and not 1 because the art was consistently good. Not my style, but still. Worst part is Mr. Perfect Seme that takes in all the bitching like he was born for it. Blegh.

I can't trust people that fuck with such a straight face. Come one crow dude, you look like you're happy because you found enough blue Legos to build a tiny car. I dunno, I guess stone faced characters just don't cut it. Otherwise this is a kinda cute cookie-cutter story, but not very engaging. Why is this so popular?
