I'm giving this 4/5 stars only because the story itself is weak. The art was GORGEOUS, the pace was perfect and overall it's a good light read.

First story: boy falling hard for his brother's best friend who's also their neighbor. He forces a kiss and he sees him again only after 10 years have passed. It's delicious to read mitsuya's thoughts so thoroughly. He's so insightful and just plain adorable in a very profound way. It really touched my heart, it didn't work out for me as well as it did for him but I regret nothing. Second story: young man in a coma possesses his brother and walks on water. Seriously, lol. They meet author-san and he heals the strained relationship in a *fun* way.

Light-hearted murder, drug abuse, prostitution and home-wrecking. LOL. Undercover cop falls inlove with uninformed prostitute informer, who is also a hitman. Truly beautiful.

It feels messy because characters are hard to identify. Re-read and it's GOOD. Stories are mourning radio host and peppy cafe owner, yakuza heir and brother of the one that got killed in an accident, their neighbor and a guy he literally picked of a street along with a cat in a heavy rain. Dramatic, serious tone, but not duchey or pretentious. Just sad but filled with happy endings.

Too cute, like, in a bad way.
