First found this story 11/12/2022. There were 10 chapters out at the time. It’s now Friday, May 5th, 2023 and there’s 35 out so far. Only just started reading it today. This story was very frustrating with the miscommunication. Literally, if they had just talked to each other 99% of their problems would’ve been nonexistent. They finally get together in chapters 34-35. The flashbacks were always sad af. Mc1’s first boyfriend was an absolute PRICK. Still is and so are his friends. Mc2 found out about it and started sabotaging their relationship so mc1 wouldn’t be with him. The prick also twisted the scenario of when mc2 found them (mc1 and the prick) kissing to mean that mc2 was homophobic when in reality mc2 was in love with him. And mc2 did try to contact him multiple times but could never talk to mc1 which is sad af. Fucking prick ruined their friendship and then ten years passed till the start of the story where they’re in college. Now that I think about it, in the beginning of the story I’m pretty sure it said mc1 and mc2 were friends in high school but yet ten years had passed and they’re still in college? That’s confusing but okay idc cuz it’s a college story and I needed more of those. Can’t wait to be able to see mc1 and mc2 finally dating. Wish there was more!!

Don’t know if I want to read this. It is complete so idk why it’s not marked that way. Added: Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. Edit: read it the same day. Interesting concept. Childhood friends-turned-lovers. Translations were iffy especially towards the end of the story. Was barely readable. Only pushed through cuz I knew there wasn’t many chapters left. At least it ended happy.

Kind of childhood friends since they were each other’s first love even though they met in high school. They stopped talking cuz of miscommunication (but personally I think it was Hangyum’s fault (mc2). He should’ve had the decency to at least tell Hajin (mc1) the truth about why he was dating Juri (bitch of a girl who confessed to Hangyum, got rejected, then saw them kissing and then tried outing them to the entire school).) Hajin and Hangyum then met five years later at a fan-meeting that Hajin’s sister forced Hajin to go to in her stead. Hajin ends up working as Hangyum’s stylist. They have two one-night stands before Hajin decides on his own that they’ll be fuck buddies instead of a couple like Hangyum suggested. Hangyum hides the fact that he was the one who went to school with Hajin and instead has him believe it’s his twin brother who did that. The misunderstanding continues for most of the story, even up until they broke up (I think it continues passed that?). Hajin’s ex (Jaehee) comes back to Korea as the boyfriend of the director of Hangyum’s agency and their photographer. Ofc Jaehee would still want to be with Hajin so then he creates misunderstandings and makes Hangyum think Hajin cheated on him. Eventually they make up and get back together but we only get a few chapters of them being back together before the end of the story. Kind of understandable but I wish there were side stories that gave us a bunch of fluff. There’s a glaring plot hole though. It’s supposedly posted all over the internet that Hangyum never went to high school. Even the members of his idol group thought he didn’t go. But then suddenly when Hangyum tells them in the second-to-last chapter that they went to high school together, they don’t question it at all and immediately go with it. Also, wouldn’t anyone from their school have spoken up about going to high school with him? But whatever, I loved this story so I won’t dwell on that too much. Apparently I read this story already, which makes sense considering the description was familiar af. But I didn’t remember the story AT ALL. Maybe there’s another story like this where the mc2 gets caught in the bathroom jerking off and mc1 catches him? And mc2 is famous? Sounds implausible but idk. I didn’t actually feel as frustrated with the miscommunication as I think I should have been, especially when they broke up. Idk. All I know is that I really enjoyed this. The idol and famous thing was mostly in the background. We barely saw any of that at all. Also wish we got to see more of actor!Hangyum because it was only mentioned twice in the story. Also, Hangyum’s fashion is a hilarious atrocity and I’m so glad that Hajin was there to style him bc he looked so good in those outfits. Read: Wednesday, May 24th, 2023.

Not exactly childhood friends, but mc2 has known mc1 since middle school and mc1 has known him since high school (mc2 had a one-sided crush on him). This story was painful af at times. Especially when mc1 rejected mc2 again and then realized his feelings for him. Then he spent so long trying to convince mc2 to be with him. They finally get together in chapter 34-35 (or 35-36, I can’t remember). Season two is mainly about jealousy but there was also fluff. A part-timer at mc2’s bakery (his noona owns it) has a crush on mc2 and even though he realized mc2 was dating mc1 he still pursued him. I didn’t realize he knew they were together until the last scene mc2 and him share where he calls mc1 mc2’s boyfriend. I love how supportive the bakery workers and Yoonseul’s (mc1) brother and sister were about their relationship. Wish we got to see more of that handsome af coworker mc1 had omg. No parents were involved. Though, in the second side story, mc1 and mc2 are parents (mc1 was dreaming). I’m marking it as “reading” instead of “already read” because I’m not sure if other side stories will be coming out. Side story 2 official translation just ended so I figured I’d read it now. Pushed off reading this for months and months because I knew we’d get a flashback of mc1’s cold rejection to mc2’s feelings. And we did. Mc1 was cool about it at first and very very sweet but later in the day he talks to mc2 again and is an absolute dick. Told him that what mc2 said “disgusts” him. Also pushed it off bc Suh Yoonseul’s motives for approaching Kang Jun (mc2) in the beginning of the story was rude af. He eventually made up for it but it was still a dick move. Seriously enjoyed this one. The art was soo good. Beefy uke (mc2) and even more beefy seme (mc1). Though, mc2 has the face of a seme while mc1 has the face of an uke (as weird as that sounds). I felt like they needed more communication and the author should’ve cut back on the jealousy aspect. But then again communication would’ve fixed the jealousy thing anyway. Yoonseul could’ve outright told the part-timer that Kang Jun was off-limits and to back off. He also could’ve told Kang Jun that the part-timer was into him. Kang Jun could’ve talked to Suh Yoonseul about his worries about rumors spreading and Suh Yoonseul could’ve just asked him about it instead of chickening out. Other than that, loved the story. First read this on Bilibili. Just reread it today (Friday, June 2nd, 2023). Only 56 chapters are out so far. Looking forward to more chapters.

Read this from Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 to Sunday, June 4th, 2023. Absolutely loved this story. Reminds me of Again in that the mc1 travels back in time and one of the mc’s are actors. In Again, mc1 was an actor and mc2 was a CEO. In this, mc2, is an actor, and mc1 is his manager. Before mc1 went back in time, mc2 and mc1’s sister were in a car accident together where the sister died. Mc1 blames mc2 so when he hears a year later that mc2 is getting back into acting, he rushes to find him. Only, he gets hit by a car and travels back to the past to his first day working as a manager. Mc1 quarrels with himself through like half of the story (there’s 42 chapters out so far) bc he wants to hate mc2 but he ends up falling in love with him instead. Eventually, it’s revealed that the only reason mc1’s sister and mc2 were in the car together at the time of the accident was because they were on their way to mc1’s place to make sure he was safe. Mc2’s dad is an absolute dick. He wanted mc1’s sister to get sponsored by his company and she went to mc2 for help. The father, wanting to hurt both of them, was planning on going after mc1. In the past, the sister and mc2 were both going to mc1’s place. In the present, mc2 was going to look for mc1 on his own, only to look out the passenger side window of his car and see mc1 on the sidewalk. Mc1 gets into the car and then starts talking about the past. Obviously, mc2 is confused, but mc1 keeps talking. Then he starts saying that he knows what he has to do now. Then he says I love you for the first time and he’s smiling even though there’s a truck visible in the window behind him (he was turned to face mc2 who was in the driver’s seat) and it’s just so sad because he knew that was going to happen but let it happen anyway. That was in the second-to-last chapter. Last chapter is a time skip of 3 months while mc1 is in a coma and then he wakes up and everything is happy. Also, mc2 calls mc1 his lover at an awards ceremony but we only get a glimpse of it. The smut was hot as hell and the art was freaking amazing. So defined, especially mc2. And when he shirtless? Woah. The art. It seemed kind of realistic but in a good way. Even though I’m writing this over 12 hours after I finished the latest chapter, I still remember this much and am saying so much about it. That says something since I think I read 3-4 stories today and had a 5 hour shift at work today where I had no time to read on my phone. There’s only 42 chapters out and I couldn’t tell if it was a season 2 ending or story ending so I’m marking it as “reading” instead of “already read”. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would.

There’s 119 chapters out so far and it seems close to the end. Mc1 was reincarnated three times. He used to be Yao Zui who kinda seemed like Bei Xiao (mc2)’s first love. Then he got reincarnated as Yu Yin and met Qin Shuanghan (aka Bei Xiao). They grew up together and Qin Shuanghan fell for Yu Yin. They ended up signing their marriage contract right before Yu Yin died but bc Yu Yin couldn’t remember much about the end of his life we (readers) only found out about that in like chapter 90 or smth. Turns out Qin Shuanghan was actually just a broken off piece of Bei Xiao’s soul that eventually went back to Bei Xiao’s main body after he sacrificed himself so that Yu Yin could reincarnate. Yu Yin got sent to Earth and then the story starts the day Yu Yin gets sent back to his original world. Apparently, the person who transmigrated with him (don’t remember his name) was actually the human form of Yu Yin’s sword and the sword just didn’t remember? I mean, I called it when they finally brought up the sword just like I called it that Yu Yin was actually Yao Zui. Loved Bei Xiao and Yu Yin. Apparently all the craziness after crossing back to his own world was his own fault. He told mc2 to immediately marry him and to even trap him if he didn’t remember anything, which mc2 did. It just didn’t exactly work cuz the sword ripped off the chains and they fled. Yang Jiming is an asshole and so is Ming Ling. I am astounded by how smart Ming Ling was. All the characters were basically his pawns without knowing it. He almost won, too. But things never go exactly according to plan and unforeseen things can happen, hence why he lost and died. Good thing he gave Yu Ge (a phoenix. Ji Feiyang (I think that’s his name) was in love with her. She’s also the daughter of Yu Yin’s master so Yu Yin started calling her his sister after finding out the truth) the chance to reincarnate again. I can’t possibly explain every little thing that happened since there’s 119 chapters out but it’s definitely a good story. I need more BL’s like this ASAP. I hope that the story doesn’t diverge from the main couple and start focusing on Su Yitong and the son (technically brother) of Yang Jiming, but it kinda seemed that way sadly. Their relationship just always seemed off to me because Su Yitong went to the academy with Yang Jiming but fell for someone who was thought to be Yang Jiming’s kid? Kid looked young too (not kid-young, just teenager-young but still). Also, ik that Su Yitong is supposed to be a guy, but I have to constantly remind myself of that because he looks and dresses like a girl and (obviously) has long hair. Also, I totally called it that Yunyun was Yu Ge. This story was interesting as hell even though I couldn’t remember who was who half (most) of the time. It definitely has comedy aspects to it. The cover had me worried but the two guys surrounding mc1 (middle) are the same person. One is just him with his haircut and the other is him with curtain hair. The story description sounded funny but I was anxious going into it bc of the secondhand embarrassment and misunderstandings. It was a mix of comedy, angst, drama, and fluff. It was actually really cute, though. The “childhood friends” tag is for mc3 and mc4. I did not mind the pairing at all and even when it switched to the side couple in fhapter 55, I didn’t mind at all. It seemed like a natural progression of the story and I was just as invested in them as I was in the main couple. Really, an amazing story. Great plot, no plot holes. Everything seemed realistic (somewhat). It was unrequited love-to-lovers trope for both pairings. Mc2 had a crush on mc1 for years meanwhile mc1 had no idea he existed even though they’d talked at least once prior. It was adorable af that mc2 got into making handcrafted stuff bc mc1 happened to give him a teddy bear he made in home ec class the day they spoke for the first time to get him to cheer up. There were shitty characters but all but one redeemed themselves imo. The one that didn’t was the freeloader of mc1’s group project. It’s a high school story, but there was a time skip to college in the very last chapter that we don’t even get to see. It’s just mentioned multiple times. The beginning half had the most comedy imo. This was a very interesting and entertaining story. I did end up stopping in the middle of reading yesterday but I’m so glad I picked it back up this morning when I woke up. I stopped last night cuz I had to sleep. Wish we got another season where they’re college couples, but ig the only plot would be either someone liking one of the characters, causing jealousy, or they end up breaking up or having problems. So maybe it’s better that it left off here, and I just don’t want it to end lol. If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. Read: Monday, July 24th, 2023 - Tuesday, July 25th, 2023.
