Mc1 was a human who got sent to a school for monsters. He got close to a rabbit and then the rabbit revealed it was a murderer and psycho. Mc2 ended up saving mc1 by giving him one of his hearts. Mc2 is a black fox and they have three hearts. They finally get together in chapter 57. There’s a lot of suspense in this story and drama bc there was always an enemy for them to overcome/escape from. It’s sad af that Bayern was so crazy that he even tried to kill his adoptive dad’s biological son (mc1). He was so psycho that he killed so many people, took mc1 hostage and bled him for his blood, worked together to resurrect an ancient spider who would’ve killed everyone. Mc2 seems cold, stoic, and taciturn but he shows that he cares in his actions and the words that he does say. Everything calms down around chapter 100+. Then we get side stories of first the master vampire and his servant/butler, then the snake and the human who was mc1’s guide in the academy. Time skip was lowkey sad af bc both the snake, human, and mc1’s mom were dead. I stopped at chapter 123 last night (Tuesday, June 13th, 2023) because it said “100 years later” and “rebirth” as chapter titles towards the end so I got anxious and waited for today (Wednesday, June 14th, 2023) to finish it. Stupid of me, really, bc mc1 was already a monster by that point and mc2 had gotten his third heart back so neither of them would die even with the time skip. The rebirth was talking about the mermaid who got reborn with his (her? I don’t remember) lover who also turned into a mermaid too. This story reminds me of Dear, Door because of the suspense, drama, and the fact that mc1 and mc2 needed to share bodily fluids (whether it be blood or saliva, or eventually cum) to heal each other. Not the same as Dear, Door, obviously, but still similar. Really really enjoyed this story. I’d seen it so many times but never read it before (I think) so it’s good that I read it now that it’s complete.

The painful thing about finding stories through “recently updated” is that now I have to wait a week for it to update. It updates on Fridays and today is Friday, June 16th, 2023. This is so good. Love all the characters except for mc1’s first crush’s crush (a girl who liked mc1’s first crush as well). Also, the first crush’s friends are awful as well. The first crush doesn’t seem that bad tbh. He was just surprised by the fact that mc1 asked him out and confided in his friend about it. The friend was the one who spread it across the school that mc1 was gay and had a crush on the guy. This is a SLOW burn. Mc1 fell for mc2 at first sight. They’re neighbors. Mc2 is 9 years older and is raising his sisters daughter as his own cuz sister passed away and father is a douchebag. Mc1 can see how happy someone is by the numbers above their heads and different colors surrounding the numbers shows the emotions that they’re feeling. Mc2 is not interested in love or being with anyone. Not even sex. He also thinks mc1 is too young so he rejects him. Mc1’s friend suggests forgetting about him and moving on so she introduces him to this guy who is clearly interested in him but mc1 thinks he’s a playboy so he doesn’t take him seriously. To be fair, it does seem like the guy was trying to hit on mc2 as well so who knows? There’s 49 chapters and it’s pretty sad atm cuz mc2 rejected mc1 in chapter 47 or 48. Mc2’s daughter is adorable af and I love her. Love mc1’s grandpa too even though we don’t see much of him. Gonna go check Bilibili to see if there are any more chapters on there that I can read.

Mc1 was a selfish dick. He rejected mc2 and constantly tried to get rid of him, claiming it would be better for mc2 to not be associated with him. They only got together in like the second-to-last chapter where they kiss for the first time which is bs. It was pretty much all angst. Only reason I’m not giving it a 3 star is because mc2 looks like Weiyun and mc1 looks like Lin You/Joel (mc1 of Your Dreams Are Delicious/My Delicious Dream Boy). It took me till like chapter 30 or so to realize mc2 had the same hair as Weiyun. I’d just thought of Lin You/Joel when seeing mc1 so I was surprised by that. Throughout the story I kept thinking about how the art was similar af and then once I got to the page after the last chapter (where it says “you have read..” or whatever) where it shows the author’s other work and Don’t Say you Love Me and My Delicious Dream Boy were there. Those two stories were amazing and I’m still waiting for more of Don’t Say You Love Me bc it’s so good. Hopefully it was just the artist that was the same, not the author. It teased that the dragon would make it a love triangle but it never became anything and honestly the dragon doesn’t seem all that into mc1. Witch/wizard mc1 x angel mc2. Wish mc2 had admitted what he was earlier bc it solved 90% of their problems. The ending was pretty abrupt and it kinda felt incomplete. Like they left it open for a season season but never ended up doing it or thought it was fine without a second season. Absolutely no clue at all how I hadn’t seen this story before. Don’t even remember how I found it tbh but I doubt it was from the two stories or else I would have remembered it was by the same artist. It was an interesting story but I would not recommend to read it again. Probably should give it three stars but I love the artist so fuck it. Read: Monday, June 19th, 2023. There’s 75 chapters and it’s one of those tower/dungeon manhwa’s so I really wanted to read it but chapter 75 ends on a cliffhanger and there’s irregular updates it seems so I’ll have to wait for more chapters to come out. Added: Thursday, June 22nd, 2023. Read this on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023. 79 chapters are out and it’s now the season 2 end so idk when it’ll update again. Enjoyed this A LOT. Mc2 keeps going back and forth between suspicious and lovable. Mc2 and his teammates died bc of a betrayal by Bae Jaemin, a comrade who was apparently a spy from another guild since the beginning. This was a really interesting way of having the “dungeons and monsters” plot. There’s a DM feature, which was cool af cuz I hadn’t seen that before. Also a friend’s list. Also a cool concept with a Necromancer bc they’ve been so overdone but this blew it out of the park with uniqueness. Not only bc it’s a BL, but bc mc2 and his teammates are dead and only by completing their revenge will they be able to come back to life. Was worried about the story ending sad bc mc2 and his teammates would still be dead, but then we got mc2’s POV and saw that the reward for revenge was resurrection. I also liked how protective they were over mc1. Also found mc2’s personality to be cute at times, like when he would get jealous over people who are into mc1. I also like how Sangyoon (not mc2 or mc2’s comrade) ended up being a close ally and friend even though the circumstances leading up to it were so out of the norm and bad. I also found it funny when Dawon (mc2) would tease mc1 for his crush. Also when he would pretend to be Yikyung (mc1)’s boyfriend to get people to stay away from him. Glad the season ended on such a good, hopeful note. Really looking forward to season 3!!

Sequel of Biting The Tiger. Don’t know if I want to read it since the mc’s are different. I’ll have to reread Biting The Tiger if I want to read this. Added: Thursday, June 22nd, 2023.
