This story was wild af. Mc2 was toxic in the first season and didn't care about consent. Season 2 redeemed him so much and now I love him. If I ever want to reread, go to Tiger Lily on bato and read it on there since that's the official version. Was confused by the shitty translations on mangago. Some chapters were fine but others were illegible. Loved s2 a lot. S2 started chapter 31. Mc2 was really freaking hot and mc1 was so good looking omg. Mc1 was kinda shitty in the beginning (he cheated on mc3, Honam, with mc2, Dajun). Sooyeon sleeping with Dajun seemed abrupt af. I had moments when I didn't like mc1 and moments where I didn't like mc3. Loved mc2 tbh. Mc1 and mc3 had shitty communication and that was mostly mc3's fault but mc1 isn't innocent either. Dajun was so sweet and he sincerely loved Sooyeon. He'd be a total green flag if he'd have just told Sooyeon he was keeping guards around him for his own safety. And ofc after Sooyeon finds out, Dajun orders the guards away, only for Sooyeon to get kidnapped. Honam was always attractive but he was especially attractive after he lost his memories and dressed in suits and did his hair. Dajun was especially attractive when his tiger ears and tail came out. Idk why I loved them on him so much. Wish they were visible more. Loved Sooyeon and Dajun together so so much. Also, this story would've been so much better if it was written properly. Want to read but it's 12:43AM and I have work so I'm marking it for later. Added: Sunday, May 21st, 2023. Edit: Read this Sunday, May 21st, 2023 - Monday, May 22nd, 2023. This was sooo good. Idk why it only reminded me of Kill The Lights when we got to the point where we are mc2’s side of the story. This seriously so many similarities. Mc1’s an idol/actor instead of just an actor, mc1 used to be a loan shark used to be mc2’s boss (hence the boss x employee tag I added even though he’s not his boss anymore). It’s the slowest of burns though. I don’t even think mc1 and mc2 realized their feelings for each other yet. Mc2 isn’t in the story that much but I’m hoping he gets involved more now that he’s figured out that Lee Sihyeon is actually Lee Hajin (his name now and his previous name). I feel bad for both Sihyeon and Hajin. Sihyeon had it really rough and then Hajin had to take on all that burden with no memories of Sihyeon’s life, only his own. I feel bad for Daejun (mc2) too. He lost his boss who he seemed to genuinely care for and then the one who killed him shows up and starts acting in the same manner as his dead boss did. Glad he finally recognized it (chapter 35-36 I think?) but sadly I think we only got one interaction with them after that. Only 53 chapters are out so far. And now that I’m looking at it, the updates are pretty sporadic so welp. I loved Kill The Lights and I love this too. Can’t wait for more omg I want more now. If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would this was so good. Don’t even regret staying up till 1AM (currently 12:59AM) for this even though I have to get up at 10AM for work at 1PM.

The smut was hot as hell. Kline (mc2) mistook Alexander (mc1) as his childhood best friend. Turns out the childhood friend's blood was transferred to Alexander because they were both in a carriage accident together and the king wanted him to live. Shio (Alexander's brother) was an asshole for 98% of the story. Finally, he started to see reason during their battle. Then Alexander got stabbed and Kline got so worked up that he shifted into dragon form for the first time (badass). The king (Alexander and Shio's adoptive father) and Shio finally accepted their relationship and let Alexander go off to live with Kline. Really enjoyed this story but I just felt there was something off about it. Something I can't really put my finger on, but it means it's not a 5 star. Maybe it was the complexity of their relationship? Idk. Read: Monday, May 22nd, 2023.

This was really good. Was actually a long story despite only 23 or so chapters. The chapters were double or triple what they are in other stories I think. Seme (mc1) is such a green flag omg I love him. Thought I wouldn’t like it cuz it was in seme’s POV but idgaf. Didn’t even really care that mc1 and his friend tried to hook up. It was hot. (Emphasis on tried.) Also, should’ve seen it coming that mc1’s friend and mc2’s friend were in a contract as well. Idk why but I kept thinking of Dear, Door while reading this. Also, mc2’s friend is hot as all hell woah. Mc1 is hot af too. I kept going back and forth between liking and disliking how mc2 looked. It seemed like the art for him changed a couple times, mostly his hair. It was like they couldn’t pick a single color. Sometimes it was blue, sometimes it was purple. The shade of blue differed too. Mc2’s ex (previous contractor) is an absolute asshole. Forced him to sleep with other people and forced him to intake cum that he would vomit out bc it was too disgusting. Would handcuff him and blindfold him. Mc2 ran away (before the story) and then the ex kidnapped him in chapter 17 or 18. Thankfully, mc1 saved him. Also, there’s a plot hole. How did he get into college and get to know mc1’s friend if he didn’t have a name? Mc1 had to give him a name, which doesn’t make sense. Then everyone just immediately knew his name was Croque. Also, I hate that I loved the ex’s nickname for Croque “my butterfly”. Thought there’d be more smut in this since it was about an incubus and a human but I’m pleasantly surprised it wasn’t too much. If anything, it might’ve even seemed like too little. Well, that’s better than having mc1 be a toxic asshole and forcing himself on mc2. Way better to get less smut than to get shitty smut with no consent. First smut scene I read I was actually genuinely worried he would force himself onto mc2 so I was happy he didn’t. Once again, don’t know why I’m giving it four stars, but I am. Maybe it’s because I’ve read seriously, over-the-top (in a good way) amazing fics recently that these seem mediocre (that’s not the word I want to use bc they’re not bad but they’re not overwhelmingly amazing either) in comparison. Only the .1 - .8 chapters as well as the 3.1+ chapters have yaoi in them. I skipped over them because I wanted to get back to the original story ASAP. This had me sobbing towards the end. It was bittersweet. Yohan (mc1) was able to bring Yoonsung (mc2) back to life but he had to forget his best friend (a spiritual being) ever since childhood in the process. He didn’t actually forget him, he just lost the ability to be able to see, hear, and feel him. The ending was bittersweet because of that. It was sweet because both mc1 and mc2 lost the ability to see mc3 and mc4 (a spiritual being connected to mc2). It was an interesting af twist that mc3 wasn’t actually a black magpie, but that he was a three-legged crow. Also, apparently mc1 was actually powerful, but he and other people didn’t know bc mc3 was accidentally siphoning his heavenly energy to stay alive. Then mc1 lost all his abilities bc he needed to save mc2. The side stories were even more bittersweet bc mc1 and mc2 got married. They knew mc3 and mc4 were watching and nearby (mc3 made plum blossoms fall from the sky (his scent was plum blossoms and he used to leave plum blossoms in mc1’s house and give them to him) and mc4 made the rain stop so they could have an outdoor wedding) but they couldn’t see them. Even when mc3 was wrapped around mc1 and mc4 was wrapped around mc2 and they walked them down the aisle, they (mc1 & mc2) didn’t know they (mc3 & mc4) were doing that. This was interesting af and never got boring. The four of them even got to help people with their abilities and we got to see that. It was so cool and I loved it. Yohan was a little annoying sometimes when he kept avoiding Yoonsung bc he had feelings for him but it was only minimally annoying so I barely even feel the need to mention it. I only read side stories 1 & 2 because 3+ is just smut of the heavenly jade emperor, his brother (which is weird now that I think of it), and the blue dragon that serves the heavenly jade emperor. Idk why I’m making this so long, but then again it was 93 chapters and if I could rate it more than five stars, I probably would. Read: Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023.

This was so good omg. There was a LOT of drama. Hated Woochan (mc2) at first. He was a bitch but not as much as Hye-eun (mc1’s ex and mc2’s boyfriend in the beginning of the story). Hye-eun cheated on Minjae (mc1) with Woochan and Minjae found out about it in an article. Was sad af. Woochan was a dick for awhile (very flirty and teasing) but I couldn’t really hate him except for the first chapter or two. He was a serious dick in the first chapter or two. But Hye-eun? Fuck her. She decides in the very last chapter, two years after ruining the wedding of Minjae’s sister and Woochan’s manager and outing Woochan and Minjae as a couple, that she was going to “support them”. Bitch first you cheated on Minjae with Woochan, then you get pissed off when Woochan breaks up with you for Minjae (kinda cheats on her with him, but fuck her anyway cuz she cheated first and still doesn’t see she was wrong). And Minjae’s professor? Aaaa. Pervert and an asshole and I can’t believe how he’s just forgiven as well and Woochan even forgives him for not only killing Minjae in their past life but also for kidnapping Woochan (who was in Minjae’s body at the time). Like wtf? They should’ve gotten their just desserts instead of a happy ending for them as well. And now… time to talk about the body swap aspect. I usually try to avoid stories where mc1 and mc2 swap bodies because then it’s like they’re falling in love with and kissing/having sex with themself and it’s just like wtf? But this one handled it so beautifully. This was shounen ai so we never got smut but even the kisses they shared and Woochan being dominant even in Minjae’s body was just hot as hell. When Minjae and Woochan fell off that cliff together, that’s when Woochan started to change for the better. Also, that’s when they swapped back to their own bodies. But then they swap again! Was cool af because I didn’t think they would swap bodies a second time. Honestly, wish we got to see more of them in their own bodies but I loved it anyway. They probably were in each others bodies for most of the fic but yet I don’t mind it at all? Shows how beautiful this story was. If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. I read this on bato and people were complaining in the comments about the aboriginal people in the story and were shitting on the story for it so I was hesitant to read it at first. Mc1 can see numbers above people's head that count down the days until they die. He can see everyone's number except for mc2's. I stopped reading at chapter 19. Had just finished 18 but I don't want to read more rn cuz it was just revealed that mc2 has less than a year left to live. There's only a couple chapters left and it ends sad but not as sad as it could've been. Ending chapter just shows mc1 crying and being depressed every time he sees mc2's number above his head and mc2 comforting him. Glad we don't get to see him die. Read/added: Friday, May 26th, 2023.
