This was so damn good despite all the drama and sadness. And there was a *lot* of both of that. It started with a one night stand, which I always love. Mc1 was an alcoholic but he did end up stopping drinking. Mc2 was sexy and even dressed up in costumes (a sailor’s outfit, a cop outfit, both were sexy as hell). Mc1 was being stalked and harassed by a creep employer, and eventually got revenge on him. The employer’s wife is mc2’s ex, and she was a bitch as well. Mc1’s dad is a POS. There were a lot of shitty people in this story (especially around mc1). Mc2 was a green flag (most of the time). He was really sweet and caring and loving and also sexy as hell ugh he’s way too attractive. There’s only 48 official chapters out so I had to read the rest unofficial but that was fine. I did stop when the main story stopped though, which was chapter 83. 84-90 were about mc2’s brother and the bitch’s assistant. Did not want to read, especially bc there were a bunch of warnings about horrible things like non-con, so I decided not to read it. I didn’t like mc1 in the beginning but then I just felt sad when I saw him bc of everything he’s been through. Mc1 and mc2 communicated sometimes, but other times they definitely did not. Or, well, mc2 tried to be the communicator while mc1 kept running away and avoiding him. Not as annoying as I thought it was since we always skipped to mc2 finding him again for the most part. Mc1 was a dick but then he mellowed out (kind of?), especially with mc2. Honestly, it was such a good story despite all of that. And the smut got hotter in the later chapters and even the dicks got uncensored which was actually really nice in this story. This story took me practically all day to read, which was surprising. Then again, 83 chapters, so maybe not as surprising now that I think about it. It’s now 1:13AM and I stupidly forgot to take my sleeping medication when I got a snack earlier so now imma suffer. Oh well. Just glad this was actually complete. I want more one night strange stories now. Fuck. Read: Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 - Thursday, October 19th, 2023.

We find out in the last or second-to-last chapter that my wasn’t actually a one night stand. They didn’t fuck. Mc2 could be a jerk with his words (not dick-ish per se but definitely a jerk) but he made me laugh every time cuz that’s just his personality and I knew he actually cares about mc1. I thought mc1’s ex would be an innocent person that got caught in the crosshairs while mc1 left his job to take over his grandpap’s tailor shop. Nope. He was a cheater who was MARRIED. Despite that the scenes he was in made me laugh so I don’t hate him as much as I should. His pissing contest with mc2 was hilarious, especially the fact that he technically won. Found it funny how mc2 guessed what mc1’s personality would be like in bed and got it right. Probably just a plot hole but funny nonetheless. Mc2 could definitely be attractive. Admired him constantly. Wish there was more but I also feel like it ended perfectly. Didn’t have the overwhelming oomph that brought it to 5 stars sadly.
