This was sooo good omg. Mc2 had trauma from his older brother trying to force himself onto him so mc1 and mc2 didn't get together until like chapter 75 of so. Mc1 spent two months with a stone statue of mc2 that and to life but was mute. When the statue turned to dust, mc1 held the statue's "heart" and wished to see mc2 again. Got sent back to the past. King mc2 and mc1 pretends to be a messenger for God. They're both ridiculously smart and politics are involved in this but it makes this so damn interesting especially cuz the setting is back in the Egyptian days. Mc2's brother is a serious fuckin full-on psycho holy shit. Fell in love with mc2 and ate the oldest brother's flesh off his corpse to heal himself. Then proceeded to make basically a jiangshi using body parts from different people to create a version of mc2 that obeys him no matter what and loves him unconditionally. Mc2's cousin is a psycho too. All the main/recurring characters in this story are seriously damn attractive. Mc1, mc2, and Vee (intelligence collector for mc2's kingdom) especially. Normally I'm kinda iffy on guys with eyeliner but it's more like eyeshadow in this and it makes them all so fuckin pretty. Mc1's eyes are red and he has yellow eyeshadow. For mc2, it's completely swapped so it's adorable as hell. Could be a comedy at times but honestly this was just so damn interesting I loved it. I've seen this around before and it's kind of a shame I didn't read it before now. I say "kind of" cuz the arc somewhat wrapped up pretty nicely in chapter 85 (latest chapter). Really enjoyed this one. Looking forward to seeing what happens when mc1's necklace that Rocky/Stone (diff names for the statue) made for him blooms. It's a flower but it flows and can stop a knife attack. Really want to know more about it cuz it was inferred that the seed for the flower came from this creepy cave full of brain-washable water. Wonder if mc1 is ever gonna go back to the future. I have a feeling he's in some sort of paradox. The only way he could have met the statue was if he had gone through time first, but to go through time, he had to meet the statue first. Not looking forward to the downfall of mc2's kingdom (cuz that's what was told happened before mc1 went back to the past). Read: Saturday, July 13th, 2024.
