This was really good. I’m gonna have to reread The Prince’s First Love now bc it’s a modern-time royalty au. Prince Zeus was hilarious and I love how much of a green flag he was (besides him kidnapping mc1 in the beginning of the story to get his underwear back). He wanted to make Sunwoo’s life miserable so he got Sunwoo fired from his three jobs. But then he hired him as a palace cleaner and then switched it so he only cleaned Prince Zeus’s room. Then Sunwoo became his servito (personal servant I think?). He confessed pretty early on (chapter 21) and bc Sunwoo was so flabbergasted he took a long time after that to reciprocate. July Carl (prime minister and Sunwoo’s teacher/sponsor (not sexually)) was toxic af for most of the story until he realized he was being selfish and wasn’t protecting Sunwoo. Prince Louis seemed like a suspicious af character until it was revealed close to the end that he was actually trying to save Sunwoo and so was July. Sunwoo *had* to lose his memory that day if he wanted to keep his life. I felt bad for Prince Louis because he was being manipulated by his mother into thinking that it was Prince Zeus’s fault that his brother died. Thankfully he recognized the truth. Wish there were side stories bc the six month time skip in the last chapter was nowhere near enough. Also was pretty abrupt and didn’t make much sense considering July didn’t leave the Prime Mjnistwr position or divorce his wife. Poor Troy throughout the entire story. He just wanted attention. And the cat we sometimes got to see? They should’ve given it food. Every single panel it was in it was going bananas bc it wanted food. Also, the king. Wish he had more screen time. He was so accepting of Prince Zeus omg. Even told him that he’d understand if he rejected the throne so he could be with Sunwoo. Really good story. Thought the apart was weird at first but I got used to it. Wish Sunwoo’s face was more adult-like. Read: Monday, May 22nd, 2023
Lack of Love
Kind of childhood friends since they were each other’s first love even though they met in high school. They stopped talking cuz of miscommunication (but personally I think it was Hangyum’s fault (mc2). He should’ve had the decency to at least tell Hajin (mc1) the truth about why he was dating Juri (bitch of a girl who confessed to Hangyum, got rejected, then saw them kissing and then tried outing them to the entire school).) Hajin and Hangyum then met five years later at a fan-meeting that Hajin’s sister forced Hajin to go to in her stead. Hajin ends up working as Hangyum’s stylist. They have two one-night stands before Hajin decides on his own that they’ll be fuck buddies instead of a couple like Hangyum suggested. Hangyum hides the fact that he was the one who went to school with Hajin and instead has him believe it’s his twin brother who did that. The misunderstanding continues for most of the story, even up until they broke up (I think it continues passed that?). Hajin’s ex (Jaehee) comes back to Korea as the boyfriend of the director of Hangyum’s agency and their photographer. Ofc Jaehee would still want to be with Hajin so then he creates misunderstandings and makes Hangyum think Hajin cheated on him. Eventually they make up and get back together but we only get a few chapters of them being back together before the end of the story. Kind of understandable but I wish there were side stories that gave us a bunch of fluff. There’s a glaring plot hole though. It’s supposedly posted all over the internet that Hangyum never went to high school. Even the members of his idol group thought he didn’t go. But then suddenly when Hangyum tells them in the second-to-last chapter that they went to high school together, they don’t question it at all and immediately go with it. Also, wouldn’t anyone from their school have spoken up about going to high school with him? But whatever, I loved this story so I won’t dwell on that too much. Apparently I read this story already, which makes sense considering the description was familiar af. But I didn’t remember the story AT ALL. Maybe there’s another story like this where the mc2 gets caught in the bathroom jerking off and mc1 catches him? And mc2 is famous? Sounds implausible but idk. I didn’t actually feel as frustrated with the miscommunication as I think I should have been, especially when they broke up. Idk. All I know is that I really enjoyed this. The idol and famous thing was mostly in the background. We barely saw any of that at all. Also wish we got to see more of actor!Hangyum because it was only mentioned twice in the story. Also, Hangyum’s fashion is a hilarious atrocity and I’m so glad that Hajin was there to style him bc he looked so good in those outfits. Read: Wednesday, May 24th, 2023.
A Trace of the Wonder
An action BL like Solo Leveling which has dungeons and monsters and hunters. Season 1 shows just how psycho mc2 is and I didn’t like him all that much. Season two (starting chapter 38) showed how sweet mc2 could be but then we only find out he was like that bc he knew that’s how mc1 wanted him to act. Though, it seems fairly obvious that mc2 actually has feelings for him and probably just doesn’t realize it yet. Last chapter of season 2 (chapter 67, also the latest chapter that’s out) I was worried because Hyeon (mc2) was so pissed at Yiseon (mc1). But then he brought up the fact that Yiseon didn’t cry even though he was in pain and the fact that Yiseon didn’t tell him that Hyeon’s brother drugged him. Like… I thought he’d be more pissed that his 4-year long plan just went down the drain but nope. He’s just mad that Yiseon isn’t happy and keeps apologizing for the wrong things. He was like “I think it would make me feel better if you smiled” and it was just so freaking cute when he said that. Like I said: it’s obvious he cares. Loved how protective Hyeon was in season 2 and how badass/cool both he and Yiseon were. Don’t know when season 3 will start but I can’t wait!! Read: Tuesday, May 30th, 2023.
Portrait of a Bad Guy
So this is very drama-filled but that makes it sooo interesting. Sol (mc1) gets a crush on Chaeun (mc1’s sister)‘s boyfriend before knowing it’s her boyfriend. Then Chaeun breaks up with Jeebin (mc2) because she wanted to go abroad for summer vacation. Sol and Jeebin sleep together multiple times. Sol gets a part-time job at a cafe and the boss takes a liking to him. Sol starts sleeping with both of them (I didn’t mind cuz Jeebin was an asshole in the beginning and he wasn’t being clear about what their relationship was). He eventually breaks it off with the boss and eventually gets together with Jeebin. But then Chaeun comes back and so does Sol’s first love (Sunjae). Or maybe he’s Sol’s second love? It was kinda implied that Jeebin might’ve been Sol’s first love and heavily implied that Sol was Jeebin’s first love even though I think they only met each other once when they were young. Both Chaeun and Sunjae are absolute assholes and I hate them both to hell and back. Kinda feel bad for the boss bc of his unrequited feelings with Sol. After Sol and Jeebin get together there’s a lot of fluff with them and it’s adorable as hell I love them. I marked it as both shounen ai and yaoi because we don’t get to see the dicks or any really intimate panels but it’s very heavily implied and we see them shirtless and breathless so it’s not exactly shounen ai either. Read this from Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 to Sunday, June 4th, 2023. Absolutely loved this story. Reminds me of Again in that the mc1 travels back in time and one of the mc’s are actors. In Again, mc1 was an actor and mc2 was a CEO. In this, mc2, is an actor, and mc1 is his manager. Before mc1 went back in time, mc2 and mc1’s sister were in a car accident together where the sister died. Mc1 blames mc2 so when he hears a year later that mc2 is getting back into acting, he rushes to find him. Only, he gets hit by a car and travels back to the past to his first day working as a manager. Mc1 quarrels with himself through like half of the story (there’s 42 chapters out so far) bc he wants to hate mc2 but he ends up falling in love with him instead. Eventually, it’s revealed that the only reason mc1’s sister and mc2 were in the car together at the time of the accident was because they were on their way to mc1’s place to make sure he was safe. Mc2’s dad is an absolute dick. He wanted mc1’s sister to get sponsored by his company and she went to mc2 for help. The father, wanting to hurt both of them, was planning on going after mc1. In the past, the sister and mc2 were both going to mc1’s place. In the present, mc2 was going to look for mc1 on his own, only to look out the passenger side window of his car and see mc1 on the sidewalk. Mc1 gets into the car and then starts talking about the past. Obviously, mc2 is confused, but mc1 keeps talking. Then he starts saying that he knows what he has to do now. Then he says I love you for the first time and he’s smiling even though there’s a truck visible in the window behind him (he was turned to face mc2 who was in the driver’s seat) and it’s just so sad because he knew that was going to happen but let it happen anyway. That was in the second-to-last chapter. Last chapter is a time skip of 3 months while mc1 is in a coma and then he wakes up and everything is happy. Also, mc2 calls mc1 his lover at an awards ceremony but we only get a glimpse of it. The smut was hot as hell and the art was freaking amazing. So defined, especially mc2. And when he shirtless? Woah. The art. It seemed kind of realistic but in a good way. Even though I’m writing this over 12 hours after I finished the latest chapter, I still remember this much and am saying so much about it. That says something since I think I read 3-4 stories today and had a 5 hour shift at work today where I had no time to read on my phone. There’s only 42 chapters out and I couldn’t tell if it was a season 2 ending or story ending so I’m marking it as “reading” instead of “already read”. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would.
Someone Like You
This was sooo good but also painful. Mc1 is cold and silent bc it’s his defense mechanism for not getting hurt. His brother died, he got blamed for it, mom ran away after divorcing dad, dad ended up sick in the hospital and eventually died. It’s all just been mentioned and touched on briefly but it’s still sad af. Mc2 gets bored easily and when he does he immediately stops doing what made him bored whether it be playing basketball or talking to someone. Mc1 had feelings for mc2 in high school but never did anything about it bc he knew mc2 would just get bored of him and then leave. They stopped talking for a different reason and then 12-13 years passed before they meet again. They get together around chapter 18 I think but they don’t make any real progress with their relationship bc mc1 believes mc2 will get bored of him and leave again. Latest chapter (27) has mc1 confessing that’s the reason why he’s been so distant and it’s sad af bc the last panel shows how hurt mc2 is by mc1’s assumption cuz mc2 is really serious about him. Mc2’s type was made bc he wanted someone like mc1. Really want more of this. Read: Tuesday, June 6th, 2023.
Modern Wizard Hunting Project
Mc1 was a selfish dick. He rejected mc2 and constantly tried to get rid of him, claiming it would be better for mc2 to not be associated with him. They only got together in like the second-to-last chapter where they kiss for the first time which is bs. It was pretty much all angst. Only reason I’m not giving it a 3 star is because mc2 looks like Weiyun and mc1 looks like Lin You/Joel (mc1 of Your Dreams Are Delicious/My Delicious Dream Boy). It took me till like chapter 30 or so to realize mc2 had the same hair as Weiyun. I’d just thought of Lin You/Joel when seeing mc1 so I was surprised by that. Throughout the story I kept thinking about how the art was similar af and then once I got to the page after the last chapter (where it says “you have read..” or whatever) where it shows the author’s other work and Don’t Say you Love Me and My Delicious Dream Boy were there. Those two stories were amazing and I’m still waiting for more of Don’t Say You Love Me bc it’s so good. Hopefully it was just the artist that was the same, not the author. It teased that the dragon would make it a love triangle but it never became anything and honestly the dragon doesn’t seem all that into mc1. Witch/wizard mc1 x angel mc2. Wish mc2 had admitted what he was earlier bc it solved 90% of their problems. The ending was pretty abrupt and it kinda felt incomplete. Like they left it open for a season season but never ended up doing it or thought it was fine without a second season. Absolutely no clue at all how I hadn’t seen this story before. Don’t even remember how I found it tbh but I doubt it was from the two stories or else I would have remembered it was by the same artist. It was an interesting story but I would not recommend to read it again. Probably should give it three stars but I love the artist so fuck it. Read: Monday, June 19th, 2023. Monster In The Mist
Want to read but I have work today and it's 1:33 AM so I won't read it now. Added: Thursday, June 15th, 2023. Edit: I did not read side 8 yet bc I'm waiting for at least side 9 to come out. I read up to (including) side 7. Mc2 is a psycho. He admits to injecting the virus into his body to kill himself and even tells mc1 that he plans to release the virus into the district to kill everyone there. This is about a virus that is inside a mist that is spreading throughout the districts and contaminates people so they turn into what are basically zombies. Mc1 is a biologist who had studied and published a paper on the original strain of the virus. The original strain, M.A.D., was a virus that was a mystery to every researcher out there and had the fear of many. Then, mc1 published his thesis and the mystery was solved. The mist started because the M.A.D. formula was tweaked with to be able to turn people into mindless robots that would only carry out orders. Fucked up, but it gets worse. Mc2 was infected with the original M.A.D. strain when he was a child (accidentally) and mc2’s dad was one of the people who created the mutated strain. The mutated strain turned people insane and was discarded by dumping it in the waterways. Apparently it came into contact with oil in district 3 and a fire started somehow, which turned the virus into a mist that spread and contaminated people. Mc1 and mc2 were friends/classmates in college. I say friends/classmates bc I couldn’t tell if they were actually friends or not back then. It seemed fake tbh but they did get along well together. Mc2 even gave mc1 a lab of his own so mc1 could carry out tasks/research for him. When mc1 chose M.A.D. for his thesis topic, mc2 tried to dissuade him. When mc1 was trying to prove to him that he could actually make progress with the research, he discovered unintentionally that mc2 had been exposed to/affected by M.A.D.. They never talked again until mc1 ran into mc2 in chapter 22, 2(+?) years after they had last spoken to each other. Yes, they only meet and have an actual conversation for the first time in chapter 22. The other “meetings” they had before that were just flashbacks that mc1 would have. Mc1 ends up working for mc2 in exchange for not killing the people who came with mc1 to district 1 to escape the mist. They kissed for the first time in chapter 43 and only actually got together in (I think) side 1. Side 1 starts the beginning of the first smut scene and it lasts till like the middle or so of side 3. Side 8 starts the second smut scene but I’m not reading side 8 yet because the smut scene is incomplete. Chapters update irregularly so I’m not sure when it’ll update but I’ll look forward to it updating anyway. Mc2 started acting better after the kiss in chapter 43 but not by much. He really changes in chapter 60 - side 1. I was worried mc2 would be a toxic seme but he was holding himself back from sex bc he didn’t want to hurt/break mc1 and even tried to stop after mc1 came but didn’t bc mc1 asked him to not stop. I was worried af when mc2 forbade him from leaving the house and seeing his friends but only realized the reason why when mc1 escaped and ended up kidnapped. I think mc2 should’ve just been straightforward, but considering mc1’s personality, it was probably better for him not to know cuz then mc1 wouldn’t try to be bait to lure the kidnapper out or smth like that. Mc2 saved him, obviously, but personally I think mc1 could’ve escaped on his own anyway. Idc though bc it was sweet how mc2 immediately ran to hug mc1 when he saw him. I love mc1’s best friend. He was always attractive af. Loved him with black hair and red tips but also loved him with black spiky hair. Not only was he attractive as hell but he was also really loyal to mc1 and I loved his personality. Wish we got to see more of him tbh. Hopefully we will before the end of the story. Also love mc1’s coworker. He was funny and had good judgement. He was suspicious of mc2’s dad and also was able to deduce that mc1 wasn’t on the dad’s side. He even helped mc1’s best friend and others escape when they were about to be captured. Really really enjoyed this story even despite mc2 being psycho and it being a serious slow burn. Even chapters 1-21 where mc2 isn’t in the picture (besides flashbacks) were interesting enough to keep me hooked. Was glad when mc1 and mc2 finally met but that doesn’t mean before that was boring. Names got confusing sometimes but it didn’t affect my ability to read and I understood everything important except for one or two things. The art is beautiful and the smut scene I read was good. This is already a long af description I’m making so imma stop now. Read: Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 - Wednesday, June 21st, 2023. Finished on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023. Sad af that it ended but the ending was really sweet I loved it so much.

Not in the mood for porn w/o plot so I'm marking it for later. Looks really good though. Added: Sunday, June 18th, 2023. Three stars bc it’s literally porn w/o any plot whatsoever. We get no explanation of anything, just mc1 calling mc2 young master and mc2 calling mc1 Secretary Han. The only backstory we got was like two very short panels of mc2 as a kid with mc1’s narration of how mc2 was an adorable kid and a narration of mc1 saying “it wasn’t always like this” or something along those lines. Other than that it’s all smut and the smut lasted 3/4 chapters. To be fair, I was only reading it for the smut but really? No plot at all? I would’ve really liked if we got a flashback of their first time together. I highly doubt they’re dating so it’s no doubt that they’re sex partners. I’m fine with sex partner plots as long as they end up dating by the end but nopeee. The smut was pretty good but it wasn’t top-tier like in Over The Moon and Again and stories like those.
