Main character has an eating disorder which makes him unable to be full. He gets dangerously fat and got recommended to try “Athene”, a VR game where the taste of food is the same as irl. Mc plays and bc he’s obsessed with food, he ends up catching people’s eye and becomes friends with people easily. He ends up getting a quest which leads him to a class change where he gets a class called Shiksin. This story is amazing bc mc has so much support and great friends/family. Since his dad is a big-shot CEO, I thought he’d be pissed with mc eating all the time and “letting him down”. Nope! The dad just wants mc to be happy, even if it means he plays VR all day every day. The dad ends up playing as well and their father/son relationship is really wholesome and sweet. His friends are really supportive and always treat him well. Even when he cut out 3/4 of them when he got fat (he only got to know the 4th after he got fat), they still accepted him when they ran into each other again and saw what he actually looked like irl. Mc, with his obsession for food, hates getting vassals and people to work under/follow him bc “there’s another mouth to feed”. I love how everything just feels like destiny bc his dad unironically got the nickname Black Flame Dragon (people in the community board said it was a good name but apparently it’s not?) and ends up becoming a dragon tamer (and eventually a dragon lord (I think that’s what the class is called)). Mc also met a kid who used a mythical beast (Fenrir, but it’s spelled as Fenrus in this) as his summoning beast. Apparently mc’s dad went to the kid’s village irl bc the villagers were starving and when mc met the kid in VR, mc gave a dish to one of the kid’s impoverished friends and those two things combined into the result of the kid becoming mc’s vassal/servant. The dad ends up taming the four legendary dragons, which are also mythical beasts. And mc meets the rank 1 magician by accident bc mc ate the 10-thousand year old ginseng that Ali, the magician, was searching for for months and when Ali finally found it, he saw mc eating it in a food dish. Also, Ali is apparently planning on taming the snake, which is also a mythical creature. Mc’s pet is a god and the mythical creatures look up to him. It’s really freakin’ cool how interconnected everything is. This is really fleshed out and the only time i want to skip is when mc is describing the food texture/flavor (which happens a lot). This is very interesting and intriguing and addicting. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. There’s 147 chapters out so far. Read: Thursday, June 29th, 2023 - Saturday, July 1st, 2023.
