Had to read some chapters on other sites, ch4 is out of order too. Mc reminds me of Lloyd but wayyy uglier. He’s also batshit crazy (not in a psychotic/psychopathic way) and he’s not even attractive so this is pretty mid. Hard to understand sometimes and obvious plot holes happen. Mc defeated an A-rank and was immediately given a test to rank up to B-rank. Like… what?? Bizarre af. I like how mc isn’t hiding his strength though and that generally people are nice to him. I read this on WEBTOON then came here to get fully caught up. Day after mc retired, he returned 20 years into the past (he was 40, now he’s 20). Glad there’s no romance aspect in this yet despite the supposed FL showing interest in him. Mc literally told her to give her romantic interest (like her feelings) to someone else lmao. Mc adopted a future calamity who was born in a different world & became her guardian. She’s really cute and I love her character. Tragic af backstory (she was used as an experimental subject back in her world and escaped into mc’s world bc of a gate. Mc accepted conditions at a better guild than his previous life. FL is the guild leader’s daughter but she’s not that annoying so I tolerate her. Guild leader’s is battle crazy he’s hilarious. Mc uses his future knowledge of the martial world to become really strong and is about to rise to the vice-guild leader position despite being in the guild and being a team leader for a shorter amount of time than the others. Other guilds have started to go against mc and his guild bc they’re gaining more money and influence and power than the other ones who used to be on top in hierarchy. Hopeful for a new ally from the Swift Guild. They seem to be good guys. Earth, in the future, is connected to a world called Gaia (where the future calamity is from) and also connected to the martial world. Mc, Lily (future calamity), and the kid who has a crush on Lily go to Gaia to not only punish the one who experimented on Lily but also to find Lily’s mom. They did punish the guy but the organization he’s from is still there. It was revealed that Lily’s mom was a fake when they met her again. Presumably, after Lily went missing, Lily’s mom went around the continent looking for her and a member of the organization came to pretend to be her so when Lily showed up again, they would be ready to apprehend her. During the journey, mc and his party met the last survivor of a rebellion, the kingdom’s princess, her knight, and a court mage who was helping her escape the kingdom. Since she’s part elf, mc & co protected the princess & her party from pursuers on the way to the elf kingdom/village(?). There, mc met the elf elder who was able to get mc in contact with a dragon called Abraxas. Mc wanted to learn more about the watch he got at his retirement party that led him to return to two decades prior. Dragon’s soul/proxy taking form as a human doll made by an archmage was then accepted into mc’s party reluctantly (she wanted to go to Earth but mc didn’t wanna accept her lmao). Rn, mc is dealing with the second calamity on Earth which is Red Fog. It’s poisonous to humans, but he’s in the middle of the process of getting rid of it. Apparently, it’s caused by two beings (brother and sister) from a different world and once they reunite they can stop the Red Fog. Really interesting story. Loving this a lot. I’d seen it around so I’m very upset I never read it before or even added it to any of my lists. Though, I am glad there were a lot of chapters for me to binge (it’s 1:11AM rn).
