「I'm Yours, Blood and Soul」 is a webtoon I didn't think I'd need until I read it. Totally interested of what's to come. For now, we have apparently 2 Main Couples: (1) Dracula and Demon, now both of these cinnamon rolls are just the right semblence for a supernatural love story. And they both ain't killin' no one now that they're stuck together so + points from me; (2) Serial Killer and Detective, boi was I shook with SK's motive for killin and its such a BIG LOL, you twisted lil sht because of you my bb vamp is being falsely accused of murderin and hhhhh boi you better put more clues for you loverboy to know you da wan killin em. I'm having such conflicted thoughts about the 2nd couple because I like SK's dynamic with yo beu but hhhhh you're a sore eye to my bb vamp and bb demon's love story.

A 10/10 for me. The story wasn't intensely invasive on a cutesy/sexual aspect but more so focuses on the world of the two protagonists who share their lives and journey; their actual growth and development with just enough cleaning of unfinished business. The graphics are amazing, I feel the simplicity but also the love the creators have put into the story. It's actually very wholesome and integrating it with an in-game perspective was very interesting a concept. Glad they stuck with it to the very end and utilized it as best as they could. Very clean art style and I'd say a very satisfying end for season 2. Congrats, author-nim, artists and company!

Ok so when i say i will deck the ML from a third floor building because he is vermin and scum of the earth, i lotrally mean he is a cold-blooded piece of shit that i will belch volcanic ash and magma with if I were given a chance. So, to summarize this story, we have Lariette, our final girl who dies at the hands of the emperor / crown prince (continuity, we do not know her) for the SIN OF EXTRAVAGANCE. Yes. Extravagance is now a sin. Her family who stays neutral in the political sphere gets accused with these bogus allegations, its litrally a ponzi scam. We have our ML who, while as a kid had to dress up as a girl because he had a weak political standing backing him up, hence, he needs to protect his life in another episode of “why the fuck do we have royalty and schemes can we please have anarchy already” and maybe because he has to be treated like a girl which sets off his psychotic break i rly dont know what triggered his maniac tendencies (all i know is i wanna pour gasoline on him like he is literally scum of the earth material) which our FL is going to serve as after she gets executed at 18, she comes back years back when she was 12, having been given the chance to change shit. Now, there’s a tirade of issues and qualms I have of this story for various reasons: 1. While I get the author’s intent, there is no getting around to using the trope of “i present to you a shattered violent ML who will be changed into a sane adult by the FL who will stay with them in their violent and melancholic breaks to change them for the better” and please dont get me started with the criminally offensive trope of “i am now 12 but i am actually an adult in a child’s body and will save my family by changing the ML so he doesn’t k-word us”. No. That is literally grooming. Big gross vibes. I could go on and on with that but i digress. 2. Idk what the author has in mind, what very VERY (and I mean VERY) tantalizing method of redeeming the ML they will do, but I can assure you (self), that no, there is nothing capable of redeeming this kid at 15 who is still currently a girl. Just reading the first few chapters, you can tell the kid is twisted asf, has temperament and attitude issues, and HORRIBLY VIOLENT TENDENCIES WITH THE PULLING AND TOUCHING. 3. On satan’s asshole, the art is great, the premise is there, but the translation just makes me want to dip. God bless you translator/s for your hard work and time, but significant improvements are in need. IN CONCLUSION, this is a solid 2/10 for me. Abusive tropes, slight grooming tendencies which is shoddy on the go, violent AND ABUSIVE ML, a “well-written” FL that will ofc dumb down to the level of maturity the ML has so they can fall for them. The only thing giving this story its 2 is the art and the premise. It is an unfortunate pass for me. (already read; dropped; maybe in another life or better temperament of mine, i may re-read it, by then hopefully we can actually see a justifiable redeemability worthy for the ML. Until then, yeet.) EXTRA NOTES: It is so unfortunate, this story could’ve seriously been doable to read but this current scanlation and this sorry excuse behavior of this prince is just super irk-some ??? He is psychotic. A murderer. Also the groomy undertones. Big yikes.
