good god while its a cliche fantastical period story, it had its strengths but the emotional bitch in me just cried over our FL losing her agency and getting conned to signed a contract that wont benefit her. like, maam, you dont want your dad getting shoddy deals, why the fuck you following in his footsteps ???? READ CONTRACTS GOSH DARNIT.
