The ending is realistic but feels a little anti-climatic after everything. A prince has everything handed to him on a silver platter and is arrogant because everything does come easily to him. But when he meets a witch in the woods, he can't stop thinking about her. Well, him... Some reviews say the prince is homophobic at the start but I don't believe this to be true. It's not emphasized at least by the author. Fun story, but I hate the first prince. Like a lot. He has no redeeming qualities

An awesome world about witches and their familiars. So a guy with a rough past is a decoy for things and he starts talking to his unsocialble neighbor more and more. But when he sees said neighbor being attacked one day he gets into things a little deeper than he meant to and ends up dead. But then he wakes up and turns out to be a witch's (his neighbor's familiar)
