A nine-tailed fox is an outsider amongst his own tribe and so they send him as a bride to the wolf tribe to kill the son of the chief and start a war. But things do not go according to plan and the wolf falls for his bride even if he is a man and a monster

In a small town that was once saved by marrying one of the villagers to a nine tailed fox, the ceremony is replicated every year and has the first born son of each side preform a marriage ceremony (sex included). So two childhood friends grew up knowing this, but this is the first year that they will preform the ceremony instead of their fathers (who also have a bitter sweet love story in ch 3)
