NPCs Can Save the World Too!

Ongoing | Poppypari | 2019 released

This Isekai is quite a breathe of fresh air. The characters struggle with their pasts and internal mental struggles but they don’t take it out on each other. The mc is also in the “found family” trope, with an interesting and non-spite / jealousy filled poly relationship. There’s a main plot of finding out why the god(s) have placed the mc in this world, as well as another more prominant plotline of the mc finding the other characters and learning about them. Of course there are side plots, or gags, such as some characters reconciling their friendship, or the mc getting over their internalized homophobia.

The Mutual Non-Aggression Is Unpalatable

Some comments are misleading or heavily biased: This story has some pacing issues, due to the irregular timeline since it’s both an isekai and reincarnation story. Pay attention to the time skips, the story makes it clear when there’s been a passage of time- as since we the readers mainly reply on the main character for intel or context we’re bound to have gaps in knowledge of what happened. That’s just how stories work. The art is NOT Ai, whoever said it is was either rage baiting or unskilled at identifying Ai art. On a personal note the story is quite interesting and has a main theme of political intrigue. If you prefer fast or medium paced love stories this may not be for you. The main pair have a complex relationship with unrequieted-love as of the current chapter this comment was posted (ch. 38.) As for people having issues with who is who, just remember the 5 children of the emperor introduced to us and the love interest, if you are struggling to know who is who I’d suggest re-reading. (Or taking some reading comprehension classes. -_- I’ve noticed a trend of comments on most works I read on this site aren’t very good at comprehending lengthy or complex stories, if you’re confused, re-read, or ask for a synopsis from other readers.)
