Technically should be a BL as there is unrequited (?) love going on here protecting Koon. Ugh. I hate stories like this. It's the typical gay man's 'unnatural' love causes destruction and there is no happiness only death and tragedy. Hollywood gay stories when all of them ended up in death. Of course, Kiisa kills the love out of jealousy. Of course, Koon may fall for Kiisa but Sanka still rules him and causes his destruction.

People say that he is lying, always lied, or so forth. But that is wrong. He has dissociative identity disorder instead of creating an alternate personality he chooses to forget the bad things. Everything bad that hurts him gets overwritten. A fight with his lover gets erased but in turn he doesn't understand why they no longer talk and instead fade away. This is because he forgot the fight and thus cannot make up with his lover. He becomes a prostitute for women but he forgets all about it afterwards and just takes the money. He lives life as if was drifting from one happy moment to the next editing out all of the bad things. It may not even be a conscious choice, just something bad happens and he wishes he could forget the bad thing and he does. The one weird thing to me is how he suddenly remembers everything. Usually a patient would need years of therapy to achieve that.
