Twins Kai and Rei make their childhood bully Mutsuki into their pet to get their revenge. But as Mutsuki starts to fall for them, he finds it harder to understand what they really want. Very smutty sex scenes, though they don't go all the way until the last chapter. Story is nothing special but it's fine. Trigger warnings: noncon, coercion.

Junichi was drowning his sorrows in a bar after a bad breakup when he happened to run into his childhood friend, Shizuru, seemingly getting forcefully propositioned. Junichi was once a delinquent after being ostracized for his sexuality in his hometown, and Shizuru and his policeman father had saved him, so Junichi wants to pay them back. But after dragging Shizuru home with him, he finds out that the innocent kid he once knew has changed and now has fun with whoever will have him. After some twists and turns that result in them living together, it finally comes out that Shizuru felt abandoned by Junichi, who left before he could become attracted to the still very young Shizuru. But with everything out in the open, where do they go from here, and how will they face the policeman father who saved Junichi and who Shizuru now resents? I know there's a lot in there, but that's because it's a good story! It has a lot of details and interesting characters with believable inner selves that make it really a great read. Trigger warnings: homophobia, bullying, false accusation.

Shiina(omega) is a bellboy who's always dreamed of becoming a concierge after one helped him when he was crying as a child. But omegas aren't allowed to work in this hotel, so he takes advantage of his mild symptoms to pass himself off as a beta, until he meets Toujou(alpha), the very man he admires, and goes into heat! Toujou admires Shina's dedication, so he promises to hide his gender and help him with the new symptoms of his heats, but as the two grow closer, Shina realizes that Toujou may be putting his own career in jeopardy for him. These two are adorable, if a bit cliche. It's a fun omegaverse read. Trigger warnings: light dubcon (just regular heat stuff), discrimination.

Minami just wants to design a new store for his family furniture business, but the designer they need happens to be Suzaka, a total scumbag he knew and got tortured by in high school. Suzaka agrees to do the project if he can hold Minami because he wants to see him hurt, but Minami is sure he can go through with it without letting Suzaka hurt him. The only problem is he’s been in love with Suzaka since high school and that hasn’t changed as much as he hoped. Trigger warnings: Noncon, dubcon, coercion, cheating (implied).

Akira has been avoiding her childhood friend, Megumi for ten years only to run into him at a mixer, except he says his name is Sagami Keiichi now. And he's acting different too, maybe it really is someone else? He's into her, and she's willing to go for it, but all that baggage has to come out eventually. The story is pretty good until she figures out who he is and comes to the bonkers conclusion that he'll break up with her if he knows she knows. Plus he basically assaulted her, but her problem isn't that, it's just that she was so sure he'd never fall for her that she couldn't stand to be around him. Stupid. Oh and the real Keiichi deserved some sort of closure. It wasn't great but I've read worse. Trigger warnings: lying, sexual assault/noncon.

In post-war Japan, Aoi spends his time working as a translator for the Americans and waiting at the docks for returned soldiers. It's been three years since the end of the war, but without a killed in action notice, he can't help but hold out hope that his best friend, Takahiko, could one day return. But when Takahiko does finally come back, he's his usual, grinning, carefree self with no explanation for the three years without so much as a letter. Aoi is enraged and punches him, but he still lets Takahiko stay at his house in the meantime. Now as Takahiko seeks employment as a screen actor and Aoi tries to figure out his muddled feelings, will they be able to overcome the pain and trauma of the war? Really beautiful and bittersweet story that encapsulates the way war destroys lives, yet life moves on. Trigger warnings: wartime violence, racism.

Though she feels their statuses are too different for them to be together, he's certain they're meant to be. Trigger warnings: sex work, discrimination. Ch.5-9 - Kayama is a "betafied" omega who releases almost no pheromones, but when two alphas see her in heat, they decide to attack her anyway. She's saved by a janitor but then she loses her jobs and never gets to see him again. Until years later, her savior reappears at the bar she works at looking like a whole new man! Trigger warnings: discrimination, attempted rape. Ch.9-11 - Rune lives in a dystopian future where alphas and omegas are raised completely separately and partners and family size are decided by AI, but one day she wanders into the alpha side of the school on accident. She's saved by alpha Horo and falls in love at first sight, but there's almost no chance they'll ever meet again, until by chance they're paired together on the day of their graduation. Trigger warning: sexual harassment.

Two years ago, Shinjirou confessed to his coworker and crush, Yuki, got shot down for not being gay, then transferred overseas. Now he's back and runs into Yuki again, but he has a child? Turns out Yuki's sister died and he's become his nephew's guardian, but he's struggling to balance everything, and Shinjirou sees his chance to help Yuki and let him rely on him again. An omega who moves from one partner to the next ends up being taken in by his childhood friend, a beta, and when he finds out he's pregnant, his beta partner is ready to take responsibility, but the omega worries it will destroy his life. Honestly, I was all for this until the last chapter when it fell apart for me. Not something I'd read again. Trigger warnings: cheating, mention of abortion, discrimination.
